ACT ERA-NET (Accelerating CCS Technologies as a New Low-Carbon Energy Vector) Project has been launched

ACT ERA-NET (Accelerating CCS Technologies as a New Low-Carbon Energy Vector) Project is a project supported within the framework of sub-theme “Secure, clean and efficient energy” of Horizon 2020 and TÜBİTAK is also a partner of the project. In the project, coordination of national programs, uniformity in research priorities, data sharing and opening of international calls in the area of extension and acceleration of carbon storage and capture technologies are targeted.

 

The aim of the ERA-NET ACT project is to support R&D and innovation activities to accelerate the development of carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) technologies. The submission and evaluation of the projects will be realized on the base of two stages. In the first stage, pre-proposals have started to be submitted since 4/6/2018. The full proposals of the candidates, whose projects’ format, subject, scope, scientific content and national eligibility are found sufficient, will be asked. The submission process for pre-proposals will be open from 4th June 2018 until 12th of September 2018 (13:00:00 CEST).

 

Pre-proposals and full proposals, should be submitted by the coordinator of a consortium composed of at least three countries and institutions mentioned in the call text (http://www.act-ccs.eu/calls) using the http://www.forskningsradet.no/en/Funding/CLIMIT/1220788300457.

For matchmaking and also contacting the researchers in other countries, you should fill matchmaking form that will be published in the call web page and you are expected to send also the form to  ufuk.atay@tubitak.gov.tr.

 

Each project team is supported within the framework of their own funding institution’s related regulations.

 

Turkish researchers taking part in the projects will be supported by TÜBİTAK according to the rules of 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.

 

Researchers applying from Turkey should submit also a national project simultaneously. Therefore, Turkish partners of the projects are expected to fill the online ARDEB 1001 ERA-NET 1st Stage Submission Form prepared for the ERA-NET calls.

 

Project proposers can submit their projects until 21st September 2018 (17:30 TSİ) via http://ardeb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/ in the section “Çağrılı Başvuru Programları”.

 

In addition, project proposers should send the signed copies of their project proposals until September 26, 2018  (17:30 TSİ) to the below address:
