A joint call was planned by FOSC (Food Systems and Climate) and SUSFOOD2 (Sustainable Food production and consumption), which are Era-Net Cofund projects supported within the scope of Horizon 2020 Program.
The main theme of this call is to find solutions to climate change, system shocks and limited natural resources to make future food systems more sustainable. The research projects to be supported within the scope of the call are expected to be projects that use resources efficiently in the creation of sustainable food systems, are resistant to climate effects and offer innovative solutions. Projects to be supported; It is expected to be multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary, integrated with a food system and bringing together different stakeholders.
Call Scope:

1- Innovations to improve the sustainability of food systems by focusing on increasing resource efficiency and reducing waste
2- Adaptation and resilience of food systems to system shocks (environmental, biological, political, etc.)
The international consortium that will present the project must consist of three different partners, to be funded from at least three different countries participating in the call. Each partner will be supported by their country's funding agency. In joint project proposals to be prepared within the scope of the call, there is an obligation to comply with both the international call application conditions and the national rules and conditions of the partner countries.
Turkish researchers who want to submit a project to the call must apply to both the international call office (www.submission-susfood-era.net/sf2-fosc-jointcall) and TUBITAK. National project applications can only be made using electronic signature via the Project Application System (https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr). Project proposals to be submitted from our country within the scope of the aforementioned call will be supported within the scope of the Support Program for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from TUBITAK 1071 International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations.
