Turkey Took Its Place Among the Participating Countries of the Sakura Science Exchange Programme!

Sakura Science Exchange Programme aims to provide international students, researchers and experts with short-term training at universities, research institutes, public institutions and private companies in Japan. With the support of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT); the programme is conducted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

From the beginning of the programme in 2014 until 2019, more than 33,000 students, academics and experts from different career levels benefited from various educational activities of the programme. Trainings in the fields of Natural Sciences and Social and Humanitarian Sciences are exercised in the scope of Sakura Science Exchange Programme. 

Students (high school, university, graduate, doctoral/post-doctoral level), academicians and experts engaged in science and technology who are 40 years old or younger can be a part of the programme.

Students, academics and experts in Turkey will also be able to benefit from the program starting from 2022.
