  • ER & Mentor shall ensure that the entire project team allocates the time set in the work schedule to the project and they shall keep track of the project team's contribution.
  • ER should obtain the consent of TÜBİTAK for any travel to abroad longer than 5 days throughout the project. The ER may use his/her annual leave, provided that it does not exceed 14 workdays. This period may not exceed ten percent (10%) of the total duration of the project.
  • ER & Mentor ensure the confidentiality of the information to be obtained in respect of the project. They are responsible for the actions and behaviors of the project team violating confidentiality.  
  • ER & Mentor are responsible jointly and severally with the institution for conducting the project in compliance with this contract and the TÜBİTAK legislation in terms of scientific, technical, administrative, legal and financial aspects, and liable for all kinds of faults and negligence. 
  • ER & Mentor are responsible in terms of complying with national and international ethical principles while using humans (including human biological materials and data) and animals for experimental and other scientific purposes.
  • ER & Mentor are obliged to carry out the project activities in accordance with the legislation in force in Türkiye, obtain accordingly the permits necessary under the relevant legislation, make the necessary notifications and transmit the data to public institutions and organizations that need to be communicated.
  • ER & Mentor accept and undertake that they will provide true information in all documents submitted to TÜBİTAK in relation with the project.
  • ER & Mentor accept and undertake that the content of every report (including Progress and Final reports) delivered to TÜBİTAK in relation with the project is true and that TÜBİTAK cannot be held responsible for the contents of the reports.
  • ER & Mentor undertake project progress/final reports to TÜBİTAK on the dates specified in this contract.
  • ER is expected to publish at least 2 research articles in an international refereed journal and participate in at least 2 international events during the period s/he is supported. 
  • ER & Mentor responsible along with the institution for taking all kinds of measures stipulated by the relevant legislation to ensure occupational health and safety in the project or for ensuring that such measures are taken.
  • ER & Mentor are obliged to comply with the universal ethic rules during the execution of the project. In cases where approval of a regional ethics committee cannot be obtained, the support will be terminated. TÜBİTAK is entitled to request information in progress reports in order to follow up whether the project progresses in compliance with the ethic rules. In case of violation of the mentioned rules, the relevant persons shall be treated in accordance with the TÜBİTAK Research and Publication Ethics Committee Regulation or the Industrial Ethics Committee provisions."
