A three-stage evaluation process is applied for the research programs proposed under the 1004 Programme. Within the scope of these processes, pre-application, Phase I and Phase II applications are evaluated.

A scientific evaluation is carried out by expert panelists/consultants based on the evaluation criteria.
1.Excellence
1.1.The Quality and credibility of the research/innovation project; level of novelty, inter/multidisciplinary aspects.
1.2.The Quality and appropriateness of the training and of the two-way transfer of knowledge between the researcher and the host.
A maximum of 25 researchers will be supported per year. The applications are evaluated in two phases.

Projects are monitored and supported by the view of the auditor (s) every six months. In the last period of the project, the project result report is submitted by the organization.
