Great Success in the 26th Young Balkan Mathematics Olympiad!

26th Youth Balkan Mathematics Olympiad held face to face in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; It was held on 28 June-3 July 2022 with the participation of a total of 19 countries, 11 of which are principal member states.

Young scientists trained in national teams by TÜBİTAK BİDEB within the scope of the "2202 Science Olympics Program" represent Türkiye in the international arena. In this context, our students received 1 Gold Medal, 4 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal at the 26th "Young Balkan Mathematics Olympiad".

From our students representing Türkiye; Furkan Erden won the Gold Medal with 40 points.

Selim Doğan, Ege Akgün, Ahmet Kerim Rüzgar and Sinan Gencer were awarded with the Silver Medal.

Mustafa Dortluoğlu won the Bronze Medal.

In addition, our students Ahmet Kerim Rüzgar and Selim Doğan were deemed worthy of the best question solution award.

With this success, Türkiye ranked 3rd among 19 countries in the total score ranking in the 26th Young Balkan Mathematics Olympiad.
