European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) of which TÜBİTAK has been the coordinator institution since 1993, has networking and grant programmes for the young group leaders in life sciences.
EMBO Young Investigator Programme selects best young researchers in life sciences in EMBC member states and offers them opportunities to make significant progress in their careers and expand their skills and scientific networks.
Benefits
· EMBO Young Investigators receive a financial award of 15,000 euros in their second year,
· Awardees can also apply for additional small grants of up to 10,000 euros per year,
· Access to EMBO YIP networking opportunities,
· Access to the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) core facilities,
· Mentorship by an EMBO Member,
· Grants for organizing conferences and travel grants for networking meetings.
