COST National Online Info-Day will be Organized on 17 January 2024

National Info Day for COST Program (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) will be organized on 17 January 2024. Information will be given about COST Programme, support mechanism and updated participation rules. Also, experience sharing will be done by Turkish Management Committee Members. The event will be finalized with Horizon Europe Programme info session. The Info Day will be held in English.

WHAT IS COST?

COST is the longest-running European framework supporting trans-national cooperation among researchers, engineers and scholars across Europe. It is a unique means for researchers to jointly develop their own ideas and new initiatives across all fields in science and technology, including social sciences and humanities, through pan-European networking of nationally funded research activities. Based on a European intergovernmental framework for cooperation in science and technology, COST has been contributing - since its creation in 1971 - to closing the gap between science, policymakers and society throughout Europe and beyond. As a precursor of advanced multidisciplinary research, COST plays a very important role in building a European Research Area (ERA).

All scientists working in the private sector, public institutions and universities can benefit from COST. Within the scope of COST Actions, financial support is provided for Management Committee (MC) and Working Group (WG) meetings, workshops, scientific conferences, meetings, scientific courses, short-term scientific visits and publications.
