The vision of the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EP PerMed) is to improve health outcomes within sustainable healthcare systems through research, development, innovation and implementation of personalised medicine approaches for the benefit of patients, citizens, and society. EP PerMed, supported by the European Union under Horizon Europe, launches its first joint transnational call (JTC2024) for proposals on “Identification or Validation of Targets for Personalised Medicine Approaches (PMTargets)”. With its first joint transnational call, EP PerMed aims to fund research that fosters the identification or validation of targets for personalised medicine (PM) approaches. Applicants submitting a proposal to this call must combine the research on new and advanced targets with companion biomarker research (companion diagnostics).
Consortia are required to be transnational, interdisciplinary and trans-sectoral as well as to clearly outline the PM perspective in the research proposed. In this context, supported projects will be financed by national funding agencies after being evaluated by an international expert panel.
The first stage of international project proposals will close on 05 March 2024 (17:00, CET). Consortia that receive a positive evaluation in the first stage pre-proposal will be invited to proceed to the second stage. For Turkish researchers, the deadline for the first stage of national applications is 12 Mart 2024 (23:59, TSI).
