Within the scope of the World Bank Türkiye Green Industry Project, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, product or process development activities of the private sector for green transformation will be supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB. For this purpose, Reimbursement and Grant Support Program for Industrial R&D Projects with the code 1801 was implemented. With the 1801 program, in addition to the TÜBİTAK grant support, a reimbursable support mechanism will also be implemented. Different types of calls will be opened by TUBITAK, within the scope of the Turkey Green Industry Project, which will last for 6 years.
Information regarding the first 2 calls that will be open soon are presented below:
1832 - Call for Green Transformation in Industry: Within the scope of this call, pre-commercial activities of prototypes obtained through previous R&D studies for green transformation activities of companies will be supported. These studies may be a continuation of R&D projects previously supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB. R&D studies that have not yet been commercialized, carried out by KOSGEB or other national or international funds and companies' own resources, are also within the scope of the call. It is possible for SMEs and large-scale organizations to apply to the call, and joint applications can also be made. Prototype development or improvement, validation and certification tests, on-site implementation, scaling, demonstration and field trials, covering the TRL 5-9 range, are accepted. The support period is maximum 24 months, the upper limit of the project budget is 7.500.000 TL for micro/small-sized companies, 12.000.000 TL for medium-sized companies and 22.500.000 TL for large-scale companies. Within the scope of the call, interest-free reimbursable support will be provided to companies, with a maximum of 50% repayment. Some of the support to be repaid can be converted into grant support. The repayment of the support to be used will start 1 year after the end of the project.
1833 - SAYEM Green Transformation Call: In SAYEM Green Transformation Call, where consortium applications will be received within the scope of the World Bank Turkey Green Industry Project, the support period will be maximum 36 months and the consortium budget will be maximum 300.000.000 TL. Consortiums must consist of a Large or Medium-sized leading organization with central management experience, at least one R&D/Design Center, an SME and an institution (universities, research centers and institutes, research infrastructures). With the participation of various institutions and organizations that will contribute to the targeted product or product group in the consortium, it is expected to create development-oriented broad platform structures. Within the scope of the call, 100% grant support will be provided to universities and institutions. Capital companies will be provided with interest-free repayment support, with a maximum of 50% repayment. Some of the support to be repaid can be converted into grant support. The repayment of the support to be used will start 1 year after the end of the project.
