With the TEKNOFEST Startup Competition, which will be held for the first time in TEKNOFEST Ankara and İzmir, it is aimed that the team members who applied to the TEKNOFEST Competitions between 2018 and 2023 will transform their projects into startups, that those who turn into startups will grow, and thus develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem of our country.
TEKNOFEST Startup Competition, which is open to the applications of team or team members at high school, university and higher levels, will be held through the startup presentations prepared by the teams in 10 different themes.
TEKNOFEST Startup Competition will be organized in two categories, Pre-Incubation for early stage startups and Acceleration for advanced stage startups.
PRE-INCUBATION: Teams that have a project idea and/or are developing their prototype will be evaluated in this category. In this category, it is not mandatory for the startup to be established and/or incorporated.
ACCELERATION: Teams that have transformed their project into a testable prototype and/or product and established a company with these projects will be evaluated in this category.
Transportation, accommodation and meal support will be provided to the teams that apply and make it to the finals within the scope of TEKNOFEST Startup Competition. The finalist teams will have the opportunity to make presentations on the stage, to promote and exhibit their projects/products, and to hold potential collaboration meetings.
As a result of the evaluations, the winning teams will be awarded more than 7 million TRY in total.
