The 53rd International Physics Olympiad was held in Tokyo, Japan on July 9-17, 2023 with the participation of 387 competitors from 83 countries.
Young scientists trained in national teams within the scope of the 2202 Science Olympiads Program by TÜBİTAK BİDEB represent our country in the international arena. In this context, 1 of our students won the Gold Medal, 3 of our students won the Silver Medal and 1 of our students won the Bronze Medal in the 53rd International Physics Olympiad in which 5 of our students participated. Representing our country; Emir AKDAĞ won Gold Medal, Kaan DERE, Ahmet Bahadır TRABZON and Mehmet Anıl İŞKESEN won Silver Medal, Arda ÜNVER won Bronze Medal.
Representing our country at the 53rd International Physics Olympiad, our students made us all proud with their success. We congratulate our students who are future scientists. We would like to thank all our students who participated in the Olympiad, their families, teachers and all academicians who took part in the trainings, especially our Committee Chairs.
