It has been exactly 7 years since the treason attempt to slow down Türkiye, which went to the big, strong and fully independent Türkiye's goal at full speed, and to prevent that march. The message given by our beloved nation, which turned the biggest treason attempt in history has ever seen into the epic of July 15 with one of the most glorious resistances in history, was extremely clear: This country can no longer be plunged into darkness with any attempt to betrayal, nor cannot be returned from the path of democracy and progress.

If Türkiye is one of the most important solution partners in the search for solutions to the problems related to the future of the world today instead of worrying only about its own problems...
If Türkiye is a fully independent country not only politically but also with its industry and scientific production with the national technology move it has made today...
If Türkiye is locked in the target of the " The Century of Türkiye" today and projects not only this day, but also 2051 and 2071 and is walking towards that goal...
All this is the work of the inspiration, power and responsibility given to us by that glorious resistance, the struggle put forward that night, which turned the darkness they tried to bring us into into the light of hope on July 15.
7 years ago, we worked together, we succeeded together. In that dark night, 252 martyrs, 2735 veterans and our beloved nation, who ran to the squares all over Türkiye and kept a democracy watch, exhibited the most epic example of that union and managed to turn the darkness of that unique betrayal into the light of hope.
We will realize the Türkiye Century goal by working together in the same way and win our future together. As TÜBİTAK, while walking towards this goal, we will continue to fulfill our duty properly so that fully independent Türkiye is a country that also has a say in the field of science and technology.
On this occasion, I commemorate all Martyrs and Veterans of July 15 with mercy and gratitude; I congratulate the July 15th Democracy and National Unity Day.
