The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) came together with female students and shared information on the topics they were curious about as part of the February 11 International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal came together with the future women of science at a special event held in Antalya. Prof. Dr. Mandal informed the female students about career opportunities in science, his experiences in the world of science and future projects, and explained how he progressed in his career as a TÜBİTAK scholar.
During the event, female students had the opportunity to learn about the support TÜBİTAK offers for female researchers and female students. TÜBİTAK's contributions to science and technology were emphasized and the achievements of female researchers and female students in this field were highlighted.
Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal answered the questions of female students at the event and presented them with the book "Near Space" from TÜBİTAK publications.
On the occasion of this special day, Prof. Dr. Mandal emphasized that TÜBİTAK continuously supports female students and female researchers, and stated that science is for everyone.
It was stated that TÜBİTAK will continue to encourage young generations to science and encourage women researchers with such events. Prof. Dr. Mandal stated that they will continue to support female students in their future success and will do their best to build a brighter tomorrow in the light of science.
