Scholarship is provided to those who want to receive doctoral education abroad in the following scientific areas:

13. Internet of Things 
14. Micro / Nano / Opto-Electromechanical Systems

18. Wind Energy

Verilecek eğitim bursu, doktora eğitiminin iki (2) yılını kapsamaktadır. Bursluluk süresince bursiyerlere, yaşam gideri, öğrenim harçları ve sağlık sigortası da dâhil olmak üzere yıllık en çok 60.000 ABD doları ödenir.

Aylık burs miktarı tüm ülkeler için 1900 ABD doları olarak belirlenmiştir.

Scholarship to be awarded covers two (2) years of doctoral education. Scholars are paid a maximum of $60,000 per year, including living expenses, tuition fees, and health insurance.

Program kapsamında belirlenen araştırma alanlarında yurt dışında doktora eğitimi almayı amaçlayan, lisans öğreniminde son sınıfa geçmiş, lisans öğrenimini tamamlamış, bir lisansüstü programına kayıtlı ya da bir yüksek lisans programını tamamlayan kişiler başvuru yapabilir.

1. To be a Turkish citizen,

2. To have a valid Academic Staff and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) score of at least 75 or to have a GRE or GMAT score equivalent to this score

3.To have grade point average (GPA) where to be studied,

3.1.For those who have completed their undergraduate education, to have a GPA of at least 2.50/4.00 or 65/100,

3.2. For those who have completed the master's degree with thesis, to have completed the undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 or 65/100 and the master's with GPA at least 3.00/4 or 76.66/100

3.3. Those who have studied abroad but whose transcripts are not arranged according to the quartile or one hundred system, should prove their declaration at the time of application with the original conversion table showing the equivalent of each grade prepared by the university that issued the transcript in case they are selected as a scholars. (In cases where the document cannot be obtained, the conversion table can be obtained from web page of Higher Council of Turkey (YÖK).

4. Students who have not graduated yet (undergraduate senior year) can apply if they meet the GPA requirement at the application date. However, these students must graduate with a GPA of at least 2.50 / 4 or 65/100.

5.To meet one of the following foreign language conditions;

5.1. To have minimum 60 points from the Foreign Language Exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL exams valid for 5 years from the date of the examination or minimum 72 points from the TOEFL-IBT exam valid for 2 years from the date of the examination, or to have the scores obtained from the exams accepted by YÖK,

5.2. To have received an undergraduate or graduate diploma from an institution that teaches in a foreign language,

6. To be accepted by a university that is among at the top 100 universities in the THE (Times Higher Education), QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings or ARWU (The Academic Ranking of World Universities) by subject as of last three years from the application date that is in one of the prioritized scientific field in the call text, This program can be applied for a maximum of 3 times.

7. Not to be a scholar of Education Ministry's YLSY program.

Program yıl boyu başvuruya açıktır.

The program is open to apply for all over the year.

Başvurular, bursiyer adayı tarafından TÜBİTAK Yönetim Bilgi Sistemi (https://tybs.tubitak.gov.tr/) adresine çevrimiçi olarak yapılır. Faks veya diğer elektronik yollarla veya eksik belgeyle yapılan başvurular kabul edilmez. Adayların eğitim, sınav vb. bilgileri çevrimiçi sistemler üzerinden görüntülenecektir. Ancak bilgileri çevrimiçi sistemler üzerinden görüntülenemeyen adayların eğitim, sınav vb. belgelerini başvuru sistemine yüklemeleri gerekmektedir.

Applications can be submitted online at TÜBİTAK Application Information System (https://tybs.tubitak.gov.tr/). Applications submitted by fax or other electronic methods or with incomplete documents will not be accepted. 

Ön incelemeyi geçen başvurular bilimsel değerlendirmeye alınır. Bilimsel değerlendirme, mülakat, panelist, danışman veya Danışma Kurulu değerlendirme yöntemlerinden biri ile yapılabilir. Adayın burs başvurusu yaptığı alana ilişkin bilgi düzeyi ve akademik çalışmaları esas alınarak değerlendirilir.
