The TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Policy Document has been prepared to ensure that our Institution benefits from artificial intelligence technologies at the highest level across all of its operational and research processes. Aiming to embed a data-driven decision-making culture within our institutional processes and to strengthen our R&D activities, the policy seeks to transform TÜBİTAK into a pioneering institution that internalizes artificial intelligence. The prepared document is designed in full alignment with the National Technology Initiative vision and the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, positioning digital transformation as a strategic necessity.
Viewing artificial intelligence systems as a tool to support and enhance human intelligence, our Institution places great importance on universal ethical principles, data privacy, and transparency in all its applications. The policy text, which covers core action areas such as increasing operational efficiency, accelerating scientific innovation cycles, and developing personnel competencies, also focuses on cultivating domestic capabilities in accordance with the principle of strategic autonomy. Thanks to this implemented framework, our processes will achieve a much more agile, secure, and efficient structure.
