TÜBİTAK Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı tarafından yürütülen 2214-A Yurt Dışı Doktora Sırası Araştırma Burs Programı ve 2219 Yurt Dışı Doktora Sonrası Araştırma Burs Programı 2025 yılı başvuru sonuçları açıklandı.

2214-A ve 2219 Programları kapsamında ülkemizin öncelikli ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda, araştırmacıların bilimsel üretkenliğini artırmak, uluslararası iş birliklerini güçlendirmek ve alanlarında yenilikçi yöntem ve yaklaşımlar edinerek akademik yetkinliklerini geliştirmelerini sağlamak amacıyla bilim insanlarına destek verilmektedir.

Başvuru sonucu, BİDEB Başvuru ve İzleme Sistemi üzerinden kullanıcı girişi yapılarak “Başvurularım” alanından görüntülenebilmektedir.

TÜBİTAK’ın bilimsel ve teknolojik alanlarda araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetlerini desteklemek, bilim insanlarının, araştırıcıların yetiştirilmeleri ve geliştirilmeleri için olanak sağlamak amacıyla verilen “TÜBİTAK Bilim, Özel, Hizmet ve Teşvik Ödülleri”  kapsamında 2024 yılında 7 Bilim Ödülü, 1 Hizmet Ödülü ve 13 Teşvik Ödülü verilmesine karar verildi. 

TÜBİTAK Yönetim Kurulu tarafından ödül tevcih edilen bilim insanları:

TÜBİTAK Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı (BİDEB) tarafından yürütülen 2224-A Yurt Dışı Bilimsel Etkinliklere Katılımı Destekleme Programı ve 2224-B Yurt İçi Bilimsel Etkinliklere Katılımı Destekleme Programı 2024 yılı 4. dönem çağrılarının sonuçları açıklandı. Bilim ve Teknoloji Yüksek Kurulu’nun 26. Toplantısı 11 Haziran 2013 Salı günü Vali Galip Demirel Ankara Vilayetler Evi’nde gerçekleştirildi.

Toplantı, TÜBİTAK Başkanı Prof. Dr. Yücel ALTUNBAŞAK ve Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanı Binali YILDIRIM’ın sunuşlarıyla devam etti.

Alınan yeni kararların yanında; BTYK’nın 22. toplantısında alınan 2005/3 no.lu Ek Karar “Ulusal Bilim ve Teknoloji Sistemi Performans Göstergeleri” ve BTYK’nın 13. toplantısında alınan 2006/101 no.lu Karar “Ulusal Yenilik Sistemi Performans Göstergeleri” kapsamındaki çalışmalar tamamlanarak sonuçlandırıldı. Yenilenen “Ulusal Bilim, Teknoloji ve Yenilik Sistemi Performans Göstergeleri” setinin 2005/3 no.lu karar altında raporlanmasına karar verildi.

Türkiye’nin yerli ve milli imkanlarla geliştirilen ilk metre altı çözünürlüklü yer gözlem uydusu İMECE, 22 Mayıs 2025 tarihinde Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı Ahlatlıbel Keşif Uydu Komutanlığı’nda düzenlenen törenle resmen envantere alındı. Törene, Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı ve TÜBİTAK yetkililerinin yanı sıra projede görev alan mühendisler ve davetliler de katıldı.

“İstiklal ve İstikbalimiz İçin”

Törende konuşan Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı Kurmay Başkanı Vekili Tümgeneral Hüseyin Duman, “Bugün burada, ülkemizin uzay kabiliyetlerinin stratejik bir halkasını oluşturan İMECE uydusunun envanterimize katılmasının gururunu yaşıyoruz. İstiklalimiz ve istikbalimiz için çalışan tüm bilim insanlarına ve savunma sanayi çalışanlarına teşekkür ediyorum. Bugün geldiğimiz nokta, gelecekte bizlerin yaşlarına geldiğinde gençlerimize; tarımdan sanayiye, şehirleşmeden savunmaya kadar birçok alanda yeteneklerimizi artıracak kilometre taşları bırakacaktır. Uzayda artık bir gözümüz daha var. Projenin hayata geçirilmesinde emeği geçen tüm kurum, kuruluş ve teknik personele teşekkür ediyor, İMECE’nin Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri ve ülkemiz için hayırlı olmasını diliyorum,” dedi.

İMECE Uydusu Artık GÖKTÜRK-2B Olarak Adlandırılacak

Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’ndan Albay Tolga ise konuşmasında, “Uzay, artık yalnızca bir araştırma alanı değil; doğrudan bir savunma sahasıdır. Her türlü tehdite karşı etkili, caydırıcı, sürekli ve bağımsız varlık göstermek zorundayız. Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı envanterine kazandırılan İMECE uydusu, Hava Kuvvetleri Uydu İsimlendirme Standartları gereği ‘GÖKTÜRK-2B’ olarak adlandırılacaktır,” ifadelerini kullandı. 

“Bir Serüvenin Daha Başarıyla Tamamlanmasının Gururunu Yaşıyoruz”

TÜBİTAK UZAY Enstitü Müdürü Mehmet Nefes ise törende yaptığı konuşmada, “Bugün burada, İMECE’nin serüveninin başarıyla tamamlanmasının gururunu yaşıyoruz. Başından beri özveriyle çalışan ve emek veren tüm TÜBİTAK UZAY personelinin de başarılarının devamını dilerim.” dedi.

“Milli Uydu Sistemlerinde Operasyonel Başarı”

Keşif Uydu Tabur Komutanı Yarbay Arda Ayan tarafından da bir sunum gerçekleştirildi. Ayan sunumunda, milli olarak geliştirilen uydu alt sistemlerine uzay tarihçesi kazandırılması amacıyla yürütülen çalışmalardan bahsetti. Konuşmasında, İMECE uydusunun uzaya fırlatılmasından devreye alınmasına kadar geçen sürece dair bilgiler paylaşan Ayan, “Uydunun sistem testlerinin hazır hale getirilmesinin ardından kabul testlerine başladık. Yaklaşık bir yıl süren detaylı çalışmaların ardından bu süreci başarıyla tamamladık,” dedi.

TÜBİTAK UZAY İmzalı Milli Teknoloji

İMECE, TÜBİTAK UZAY tarafından ülkemizin yüksek çözünürlüklü uydu görüntüsü ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere geliştirildi. 15 Nisan 2023 tarihinde Türkiye saatiyle 09:48’de ABD’deki Vandenberg Uzay Kuvvetleri Üssü’nden SpaceX’e ait Falcon 9 roketiyle uzaya fırlatıldı. Aynı gün saat 12:24’te roketten başarıyla ayrılarak yörüngesine yerleşen uydudan ilk sinyalin alınmasının ardından devreye alma süreci başarıyla tamamlandı ve 29 Nisan 2023’te ilk test görüntüsü elde edildi.

Yerli Bileşenlerle Geliştirildi

İMECE Projesi, GÖKTÜRK-2 ve RASAT uydularından elde edilen bilgi birikimi üzerine inşa edilerek daha yüksek yerlilik oranına ulaştı. Proje kapsamında Türkiye’de ilk defa uzay uyumlu elektro-optik kamera tasarlandı, geliştirildi ve üretildi. Bu adımla Türkiye, yalnızca uydu görüntüsü kullanan değil, aynı zamanda kendi elektro-optik kamerasını üretip ihraç edebilecek düzeye ulaştı.

Uydunun yönelim ve yörünge kontrolü için gerekli olan elektrikli itki sistemi, yıldızizler, güneş algılayıcı, tepki tekeri, GPS alıcısı, manyetometre ve manyetik tork çubuğu gibi birçok alt sistem yine proje kapsamında ilk kez yerli imkanlarla geliştirildi. Ayrıca güç düzenleme ve dağıtım ekipmanları, faydalı yük veri kayıt sistemleri, X bant ve S bant haberleşme sistemleri ile uçuş bilgisayarı TÜBİTAK UZAY mühendisleri tarafından tasarlanıp üretildi. Yazılım geliştirme süreçleri de tamamen yerli olarak yürütüldü.

Yeni Hedef: Takım Uydu Projesi

İMECE Projesi ile kazanılan teknolojik yetkinlikler doğrultusunda 2024 yılı itibarıyla TÜBİTAK UZAY yürütücülüğünde “Yüksek Çözünürlüklü Takım Uydu Geliştirilmesi Projesi” başlatıldı. Bu yeni projeyle, İMECE’de kurulan altyapıların daha verimli kullanılması, geliştirilmiş ekipmanların yeni sistemlere uyarlanması ve yetişmiş insan kaynağının korunarak geliştirilmesi hedefleniyor.

Milli Uzay Yolculuğunda Stratejik Bir Adım

İMECE’nin envantere alınması, Türkiye’nin uzay teknolojilerinde dışa bağımlılığını azaltma vizyonunun somut bir sonucu olarak görülüyor. Tüm üretim, montaj, entegrasyon ve test faaliyetleri ülkemiz sınırları içinde ve Türk mühendislerce gerçekleştirilen İMECE, Türkiye’nin yüksek teknoloji üretim kapasitesini ve uzay teknolojilerinde geldiği seviyeyi de somut biçimde ortaya koyuyor.

A. Proje Yürütücüsü

Proje yürütücüsünün;

• Üniversite/Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi personeli olması durumunda, projeyi öneren kuruluşun kadrolu/tam zamanlı personeli olması ve doktora veya eşdeğer bir dereceye sahip olması gerekmektedir.
• Emekliler ve herhangi bir kurum/kuruluşta çalışmayan doktora sonrası araştırmacılar için kadrolu/tam zamanlı çalışma şartı aranmaz.
• Araştırma Enstitüsünde çalışması durumunda, projeyi öneren kuruluşun kadrolu/tam zamanlı personeli olması ve en az dört yıllık üniversite lisans eğitimi almış olması gerekmektedir.
• Türkiye Cumhuriyeti sınırları içerisinde ikamet etmesi gerekmektedir.

Kimler Proje Yürütücüsü Olamaz?

Kamu kurum/kuruluşlarının en üst düzey yöneticileri, vekil ve yardımcıları (Rektör, Rektör Yardımcısı, Başhekim, Başhekim Yardımcısı, Hastane Yöneticisi, Bakan, Bakan Yardımcısı, Genel Müdür, Genel Müdür Yardımcısı, İl Milli Eğitim Müdürü vb.) başvuru sırasında görevlerinin devam etmesi durumunda proje yürütücüsü olarak görev alamazlar. Projelerde danışman olarak ve en fazla 3 (Uluslararası projeler, 1000 ve 1002 projeleri belirtilen kotaya dahil değildir.) projede araştırmacı olarak görev alabilirler.

B. Araştırmacı ve Danışman

Proje ekibinde yer alacak araştırmacı veya danışmanların;

• En az dört yıllık üniversite lisans eğitimi almış olmaları ve görev yaptıkları katılımcı kurum/kuruluşun kadrolu/tam zamanlı personeli  olmaları gerekmektedir.
• Emekliler kadrolu/tam zamanlı çalışma şartı aranmaksızın projelerde araştırmacı ve danışman olarak görev alabilir.
• Herhangi bir kurum/kuruluşta çalışmayan doktora sonrası araştırmacılar kadrolu/tam zamanlı çalışma şartı aranmaksızın projelerde araştırmacı olarak görev alabilir ancak danışman olamazlar.
• Türkiye Cumhuriyeti sınırları içerisinde ikamet etmeleri gerekmektedir.

Danışman: Projenin özel uzmanlık gerektiren tali konularından birinde bilgisinden yararlanılan araştırmacı veya uzmanı ifade etmektedir. Bir projede danışman yer alabilmesi için projenin özel uzmanlık gerektiren konu ya da konularının olması ve bu hususun proje önerisinde gerekçeli olarak belirtilmesi gerekir. Bir projede görev alacak danışman sayısı o projedeki özel uzmanlık gerektiren konu sayısı ile sınırlıdır.

Projedeki katkı oranı %10’un altında olan kişiler araştırmacı olarak görev alamazlar, ancak danışman olabilirler.

ARDEB'te görevli olan Grup Yürütme Kurulu ve Danışma Kurulu üyeleri; başvuru sırasında görevlerinin devam etmesi durumunda, proje yürütücüsü veya araştırmacı olarak görev alabilir ancak danışman (Avrupa Birliği Çerçeve Programları kapsamında açılan çağrılara sunulan projeler ve ortak değerlendirmenin uluslararası bağımsız hakemler tarafından gerçekleştirildiği projeler hariç) olamazlar.

Proje ekibinde yurt dışı araştırmacı ve yurt dışı danışman olarak görev alınamaz.

Not: TÜBİTAK Merkez/Enstitülerinde çalışan kişiler bu program kapsamında sunulan projelerde yürütücü/araştırmacı/danışman olarak görev alamazlar.

C. Bursiyer

Türkiye’deki yükseköğretim kurumlarında (KKTC’den sunulan projeler için ise KKTC’deki) lisans ve lisansüstü (Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora) eğitimlerine devam etmekte olan "öğrenciler" (özel öğrenciler ve hazırlık öğrencileri hariç) veya öğrenci statüsündeki "Araştırma Görevlileri" ile doktora sonrası araştırmacılar bursiyer olarak proje ekibinde yer alabilirler.

Lisans bursiyerlerinin herhangi bir kurum/kuruluşta çalışmaması gerekmektedir. Bir projede aynı anda en fazla 4 (dört) lisans öğrencisi bursiyer olarak yer alabilir.

Doktora Sonrası Araştırmacı bursiyerlerinde aranan koşullar:

• Doktora veya eşdeğer bir dereceye sahip olup herhangi bir kurum/kuruluşta çalışmama
• Doçent ve üstü akademik unvana sahip olmama
• Doktora veya eşdeğer derecenin alındığı tarih ile kişinin proje kapsamında görevlendirileceği tarih (talep tarihi) arasında kalan sürenin 7 yıldan fazla olmaması (Belirtilen süre içinde kadın araştırmacılarımızın doğum sebebiyle izne ayrılması durumunda; doğuma ilişkin belge ya da çocuklarına ilişkin kimlik belgesinin dilekçe ekinde deik@tubitak.gov.tr adresine e-posta ile iletilmesi halinde, her doğum için bu süreye bir yıl ilave edilecektir.)

Hızlı Destek projeleri, projelerde görev alabilme limitinin dışında tutulur ancak,

1002-A Hızlı Destek Modülü ve 1002-B Acil Destek Modülü kapsamında toplamda; aynı anda en fazla,

• İki projede yürütücü veya
• Dört projede araştırmacı veya
• Bir projede yürütücü, iki projede araştırmacı olarak görev alınabilir.

Destek Süresi:
Destek Süresi en fazla 7 aydır.

Proje Bütçesi:
Destek üst limitleri (Proje Teşvik İkramiyesi hariç), Bilim Şenlikleri için 450.000 TL (KDV dâhil), Bilim Festivalleri (Büyük Ölçekli Bilim Şenlikleri) için 1.500.000 TL (KDV dâhil)’dir. Bilim Festivallerinde eş finansman modeli kapsamında proje başvurusunda en az TÜBİTAK’tan talep edilen bütçe kadar projenin yürütüldüğü kurum/kuruluş, paydaş ve sponsor kurum/kuruluşlar tarafından katkı sağlanması/harcama taahhüdü yapılması gerekmektedir. Bilim Şenliklerinde böyle bir zorunluluk bulunmamaktadır. Belirtilen destek üst limitleri TÜBİTAK tarafından sağlanacak proje destek miktarlarını belirtmektedir. PTİ tutarı bu bütçeye dâhil değildir.

Proje personeli giderleri için üst sınırlar aşağıda verilmiştir.

Desteklenecek Kalemler:
· Sarf giderleri
· Personel giderleri (Etüt-bilirkişi ekspertiz giderleri / iaşe, konaklama; Brüt üst sınırlar için Çağrı Metnine bakınız.)
· Makine-Teçhizat alımları (Bilim Festivalleri için toplam talep edilecek bütçe miktarının %10’unu, Bilim Şenlikleri için ise toplam talep edilecek bütçe miktarının %15’ini geçemez)
· Etkinlik hizmet alımları (TÜBİTAK’tan talep edilecek toplam proje bütçesinin %25’ini geçemez)
· Proje tanıtımına yönelik baskı (afiş, branda, broşür, roll-up vb.) giderleri için talep edilecek bütçe miktarı toplam talep edilecek bütçe miktarının %10’unu geçemez.
·Desteklenmesine karar verilen projelerin duyuru ve tanıtımları Bilim ve Toplum Başkanlığı tarafından oluşturulan portal üzerinden (https://4000.tubitak.gov.tr) yapılacaktır. Buna ek olarak, Bilim Festivalleri kapsamında yapılacak başvurular için, projenin tanıtımına yönelik bir web sitesi kurulmalıdır.  

Desteklenmeyecek Kalemler:
Bilgisayar, tablet, yazıcı, projeksiyon, kamera, fotoğraf makinesi, harici disk vb. genel kullanıma yönelik cihazlar, proje kapsamında sınırlı kullanıma sahip özel bir cihaz alımı, bir laboratuvarın kurulmasına yönelik teçhizat alımları ile TÜBİTAK tarafından yürütücü kurum/kuruluşun imkânlarıyla karşılanabileceği değerlendirilen mal ve hizmet alımları, TÜBİTAK yayınlarının alınması, prodüksiyon (çoklu medya, animasyon vb.), yazılım, ısıtma, aydınlatma, temizlik, güvenlik, inşaat, tamir, bakım/onarım, salon kiralanması, üniversite, enstitü veya araştırma merkezleri laboratuvarlarının kiralanması destek kapsamına girmez.

· Promosyon (tişört, şapka, kalem, defter, çanta vb.) malzemeleri alımı destek kapsamına girmez. Sadece proje ekibi için tişört/şapka alımları desteklenir.

· Proje sonrasında gerçekleştirilecek yaygınlaştırma çalışmaları ile hazırlanacak dokümanlar yalnızca elektronik formatta hazırlanır ve yayımlanır. Bu durum göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.

Projenin altyapı oluşturmaya yönelik (makine, teçhizat, yazılım, sistem vb.) olması iade sebebidir.

Ufuk Avrupa, Tek Sağlık Antimikrobiyal Dirençle Mücadele (OHAMR) kapsamında açılan 2026 yılı "Tedaviler ve Tedavi Protokollerine Uyum- OH-TREAT" başlıklı çağrının ana amacı; farklı Tek Sağlık alanlarında yeni tedavi seçenekleri sunarak bakteri veya mantar enfeksiyonlarından etkilenen insan, hayvan, bitki hastalarında tedavi başarı oranlarını artırmak ve aynı zamanda direnç riskini azaltmaktır.

EUP OHAMR 2026 OH-TREAT Çağrısı kapsamında sunulacak araştırma ve inovasyon önerileri aşağıdaki konulardan birini ele almalıdır:

Konu 1: Mevcut veya yenilikçi antimikrobiyallerin ya da antimikrobiyal ile yardımcı tedavilerin kombinasyonlarını kullanarak yeni kombinasyon tedavileri geliştirme.

Konu 3: Veterinerlik ve tarımsal amaçlarla kullanılan antimikrobiyallerin, AMR’nin insanlara ve çevreye bulaşma riski üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirme ve insan kullanımına ayrılması gereken antimikrobiyallere ilişkin politika geliştirilmesini destekleme.

Çağrı kapsamında hazırlanacak ortak proje önerilerinde, uluslararası çağrı başvuru koşullarına uyma zorunluluğu bulunmaktadır. Proje sunacak uluslararası konsorsiyumun, çağrıya katılan en az üç farklı ülkeden fonlanacak olan üç farklı ortaktan oluşması gerekmektedir. Her ortak kendi ülkesinin fonlayıcı kuruluşu tarafından desteklenecektir. Çağrı hakkında detaylı bilgiye OHAMR ana sayfasındaki çağrı sekmesinden ulaşılabilir. Ek olarak, çağrı açılışını takiben gerçekleştirilecek 26 Kasım 2025 tarihli web semineri kaydına da aynı adresten ulaşabilirsiniz. 

Çağrı sekretaryasına iletilecek uluslararası proje başvurularının yanı sıra projelerde Türkiye’den yer alacak araştırmacılar tarafından TÜBİTAK’a ulusal proje başvurusu yapılması da zorunludur. Söz konusu çağrı kapsamında ülkemizden sunulacak proje önerileri, TÜBİTAK 1071 Uluslararası Araştırma Fonlarından Yararlanma Kapasitesinin ve Uluslararası Ar-Ge İşbirliklerine Katılımın Artırılmasına Yönelik Destek Programı kapsamında desteklenecektir. Başvuru kurallarına uyulmaması durumunda başvurunun değerlendirmeye alınmadan iade edilmesi söz konusu olduğundan başvuru öncesinde ulusal başvuru kurallarının detaylı bir şekilde incelenmesi gerekmektedir.

Application and Evaluation Process

Candidates for the Incentive Award can apply personally or be nominated. Individual applications cannot be made for the Science, Special and Service Awards, a nomination is required.

The following institutions or individuals can nominate to TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards 

• Those who have received TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service Award or TÜBİTAK-TWAS Science Award in the past

• Council of Higher Education

• Türkiye Academy Of Sciences

• Senates or Boards of Directors of Universities

• The highest decision-making bodies of public and private sector institutions and organizations operating in scientific and technological fields

• TÜBİTAK R&D and R&D Facility Units Boards of Directors and TÜBİTAK Research Groups Executive Committees (in their fields of activity). 

Applications for TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are made through the Awards Application System, which can be accessed at https://oduller.tubitak.gov.tr The candidate who will apply for the award and the nominating person or the highest official of the institution/organization must have a current registration in ARBİS, otherwise they must complete a "New User Registration". 

The requested documents must be completely uploaded to the Application System. 

After the application phase is completed, the "Acceptance Commitment and Declaration Form" must be signed with an e-signature by the candidate and the person nominating the candidate or the highest authorized manager of the nominating institution/organization. Candidates who are abroad and cannot use e-signature during the application can sign the printout of the application form and send the scanned version of the relevant form first by e-mail and then by mail or courier to our contact address below. 

The nominator must add the type of award which has previously received from TÜBİTAK and the year of receiving the award to the relevant tab in the application system. If the nominator is the university senate/board of directors, the rector's signature must be present in the application system. If the vice rector has been given power of attorney regarding the work and transactions related to TÜBİTAK Award applications, or if the vice rector is deputizing the rector at the time the application is made, the relevant power of attorney document must be uploaded to the system.

Only one of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Award categories can be applied in the same period.

Applications can be made maximum 3 times for each type of award: Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards. Applications made before 2010 are not included in this number.

Candidates born in 1984 or before cannot apply for the Incentive Award.

For female applicants, one year is added to the age limit of 40 for each birth.

Those who applied for the TÜBA-The Young Scientists Award Programme (GEBİP) and the International TÜBA Academy Prizes in 2025 cannot apply for the TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards in 2025. If it is determined that a candidate has applied to these awards, their application will be deemed invalid.

For Science, Special and Incentive Awards; Candidates are expected to explain their reasons for deserving the award in a maximum of 750 words and to support this explanation with publications to which primary contributions have been made. A copy of the 5 publications specified in the "Publications Selected Within the Framework of Reason" heading should be uploaded to the "Additional Files". The candidate's contributions to these 5 publications and the candidate’s contribution to these publications should be explained in a maximum of 250 words. If the candidate has contributed to more than one subject, all but the most significant contribution should be separated by subject. A copy of each of the maximum 15 publications under the heading "Other Scientific Publications within the Framework of Justification" should be uploaded to the "Additional Files" and a description text not exceeding 500 words should be added.

Publications that constitute a primary contribution to a candidate's application (The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason) cannot be used in another candidate's application for the same type of award. TÜBİTAK has the right to investigate the statement for publications declared to have made primary contributions. Although it is declared that the candidate has made a primary contribution to the relevant publication, if it is determined that the candidate has not made a primary contribution to any of these publications, the application will not be evaluated. In addition, “The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason” must be independent of the candidate's doctorate study.

For the Service Award; applications must include the reasons why candidates deserve the award and the relevant document supporting these reasons, if any. In the justification; It should be explained in a maximum of 750 words within the scope of the following subjects;

• To train scientists

• To work for the institutionalization of the branch of science in which the candidate belongs to

• How the candidate has provided superior service to the development of science and technology in Türkiye, 

• Establishing or significantly contributing to the establishment of scientific institutions and organizations.

All evaluations and opinions formed during the award evaluation process, as well as the names of the referees/advisors whose evaluations were consulted and the opinions given by them, are confidential and are outside the scope of the right to information in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 26 of Law No. 4982.

Candidates who are abroad and cannot use e-signature during the application can sign the printout of the application form and send the scanned version of the relevant form first by e-mail and then by mail or courier to our contact address below. 

If the nominee has previously received the TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service Award, or the TÜBİTAK-TWAS Science Award, they must add the type of award they received from TÜBİTAK and the year they received it in the relevant section of the application system. If the nominator is the university senate/board of directors, the rector's signature must be present in the application system. If the vice rector has been given power of attorney regarding the work and transactions related to TÜBİTAK Award applications, or if the vice rector is deputizing the rector at the time the application is made, the relevant power of attorney document must be uploaded to the system.

Only one of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Award categories can be applied in the same period.

Applications can be made maximum 3 times for each type of award: Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards. Applications made before 2010 are not included in this number.

Candidates born in 1985 or before cannot apply for the Incentive Award. For female applicants, one year is added to the age limit of 40 for each birth.

Those who applied for the TÜBA-The Young Scientists Award Programme (GEBİP) and/or the International TÜBA Academy Prizes in 2026 cannot apply for the TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards in 2026. If it is determined that a candidate has applied to these awards, their application will be deemed invalid.

For Science, Special and Incentive Awards: Candidates are expected to explain their reasons for deserving the award in a maximum of 750 words and to support this explanation with publications to which primary contributions have been made. A copy of the 5 publications specified in the "Publications Selected Within the Framework of Reason" heading should be uploaded to the "Additional Files". The candidate's contributions to these 5 publications and the candidate’s contribution to these publications should be explained in a maximum of 250 words. If the candidate has contributed to more than one subject, all but the most significant contribution should be separated by subject. A copy of each of the maximum 15 publications under the heading "Other Scientific Publications within the Framework of Justification" should be uploaded to the "Additional Files" and a description text not exceeding 500 words should be added.

Publications that constitute a primary contribution to a candidate's application (The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason) cannot be used in another candidate's application for the same type of award. TÜBİTAK has the right to investigate the statement for publications declared to have made primary contributions. Although it is declared that the candidate has made a primary contribution to the relevant publication, if it is determined that the candidate has not made a primary contribution to any of these publications, the application will not be evaluated. In addition, “The 5 Publications Selected Within the Framework of the Reason” must be independent of the candidate's doctorate study.

For the Service Award: applications must include the reasons why candidates deserve the award and the relevant document supporting these reasons, if any. In the justification; It should be explained in a maximum of 750 words within the scope of the following subjects;

• To train scientists

• To work for the institutionalization of the branch of science in which the candidate belongs to

• How the candidate has provided superior service to the development of science and technology in Türkiye, 

• Establishing or significantly contributing to the establishment of scientific institutions and organizations.

TÜBİTAK Science, Special and Service Awards are given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences. The Incentive Award is given in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Polar Studies. 

The number of Science Awards cannot exceed eight, the number of Special Awards cannot exceed four, the number of Service Awards cannot exceed four, and the number of Incentive Awards cannot exceed twenty.

Plaques and certificates are given according to the type of Science, Special, Service and Incentive awards. For the Science and Special Awards, the equivalent of 10 full gold coins and for the Incentive Award, the equivalent of 5 full gold coins are deposited into bank accounts in Turkish Lira.

All evaluations and opinions formed during the award evaluation process, as well as the names of the referees/advisors whose evaluations were consulted and the opinions given by them, are confidential and are outside the scope of the right to information in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 26 of Law No. 4982.

Applications will be accepted until 4 June 2026, at 17.00 (UTC+3).

The winners of the Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards are announced in the same year and the awards are given to their winners at a ceremony.

2013 yılından bu yana TÜBİTAK tarafından her 2 yılda bir “TÜBİTAK Öncelikli Ar-Ge ve Yenilik Konuları” çalışması hazırlanmaktadır. Güncel öncelikli konuları içeren TÜBİTAK 2024-2025 Öncelikli Ar-Ge ve Yenilik Konuları çalışması, 12. Kalkınma Planı ulusal vizyonumuz doğrultusunda “Çevreye Duyarlı, Afetlere Dayanıklı, İleri Teknolojiye Dayalı Yüksek Katma Değer Üreten” bir ekosisteme yönelik; “yeşil” ve “dijital” ikili dönüşüm odağında 4 ana bölümde 252 kritik ürün/teknolojiyi hedefleyen toplam 482 öncelikli konuyu içermektedir.
