Within the scope of the program, individuals who meet the qualifications specified in the call may apply to the acceleration programs via PRODİS. Eligible applicants include those who, as of the application date to the acceleration program calls, are enrolled in any associate, undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral program at a university, or have graduated from any such program.
Individuals who have previously received support under the Ministry of Industry and Technology's Technological Entrepreneurship Capital Support or TÜBİTAK 1512 or 1812 Programs (Phase 2), or who, as of the date of acceptance to the acceleration program, are shareholders in the ownership structure of any capital company or sole proprietorship, are not eligible to apply. Shareholdings in publicly traded companies and shares acquired through equity crowdfunding platforms are exempt from this rule.
Under Phase 3, applications to the 2025–1 BİGG+ Seed Investment Call may be submitted by Türkiye-based incorporated companies established after the date specified in the relevant seed investment call, provided that they have received pre-seed investment under the 1812 Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program and completed their project, or have completed their project supported under the 1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program.
Within the scope of the programme, In order to contribute to the science-based knowledge and technology production of our country and the development of qualified human resources needed for this, we offer post-doctoral studies to researchers who have a doctorate degree or a specialty in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and veterinary medicine or proficiency in art or who will have a relevant degree. training in Türkiye that state or private higher education institutions, 6550 within the scope of the research infrastructure has received qualification, public research institutes, R&D or in the private sector has a design centre or technoparks on-site support is given to sustain their resident capital company in Türkiye.
In this context, the scientific evaluation results of 2218- National Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship applications for the 2024/1 term, have been announced.
Applicants can see the result of their application status in the "My Applications" field by logging in on the BİDEB Application and Monitoring System (ebideb.tubitak.gov.tr).
Candidates who are eligible for support will be informed via e-mail about initiating the support. Candidates whose applications are rejected will be informed of the reasons for rejection within 2 weeks.
Our young scientists, who have been trained to represent our country in the international arena within the scope of 2202 Science Olympiads conducted under TÜBİTAK BİDEB, proudly fly our flag with their success in all competitions they participate in. In this context, our national team won 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals at the 8th European Physics Olympiad organized with the participation of 5 students. Arda ÜNVER and Kutay KULBAK won Gold medals, Alp TERLİKSİZ won Silver medal and Halil İbrahim YENİTÜRK won Bronze medal.
We congratulate our national team students, the pride of our country, who made us fly our flag at the 8th European Physics Olympiad in Georgia.
We are proud of the achievements of our students who represent our country in the international arena and are the future scientists of the future. Applications are made as online at TYBS. After the applicant's final approval of his application through the system, project application information and attachments are sent in read-only form to the academic consultant's e-mail address retrieved from the system for "consultant approval". At this stage, the academic consultant undertakes through the system that the information entered by the applicant into the system is correct, that he/she accepts the consultancy, that the scientific and technological field in which the applied project will be evaluated is correct, that the department's facilities are sufficient, and that they will comply with the obligations of the programme.
If the academic consultant approves the project through the system at this stage, the application is completed successfully.
If the academic consultant does not approve the project through the system at this stage and sends it back to the student, the system allows the student to make edits and send it back to the academic consultant for approval. The application cannot be completed without the approval of the applicant and the academic consultant.
It is the responsibility of the project manager to follow up these processes.
Applications that are not approved by the applicant and the academic consultant by the application deadline will not be evaluated. Documents sent to BIDEB by mail will not be processed and will be destroyed.
Having the capital company status, participating in Venture Capital Funds, committed to participate in;
• Technology Transfer Offices (TTO): In order to contribute to university-industry cooperation within the relevant higher education institution and to transform the knowledge produced in the university into economic value; Companies operating under higher education institutions or joint ventures with university-industry cooperation among their activities or companies operating under the Regulation on Technology Transfer Office of Higher Education Institutions.
• Technology Development Zones (TDZ): According to the Law No. 4691, using high / advanced technology or new technologies for companies, a particular university or high technology institute or R&D center or institute by taking advantage of the technology or software to produce / develop a technological invention, a commercial product in or near the same university, high-tech institute or R&D center or institute area where they operate to transform into a method or service and thus contribute to the development of the region; the company with the integration of the academic, economic and social structure, or the capital company, which is responsible for the management and operation of the technopark or technocity with these characteristics.
• Qualified Research Infrastructures: Established under the Law no. 6550 and awarded by the Research Infrastructures Board as a legal entity; Advanced research laboratory where R&D activities are performed and units classified as central research laboratory.
TTO, TDZ and RIs that are planning to participate in the same Fund can apply to TÜBİTAK with the joint project application that is prepared in cooperation.
The Turkish national team, representing our country at the 9th European Physics Olympiad, has made us proud by returning home with multiple medals.
The 9th European Physics Olympiad was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, between 13-17 June 2025, with the participation of 189 students from 40 countries. Our students representing Turkey achieved remarkable success by winning a total of 4 awards: 1 Silver, 1 Bronze, and 2 Honorable Mention.

The 57th International Chemistry Olympiad was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, between 5-14 July 2025, with the participation of 354 students from 90 countries. Our students representing Turkey achieved remarkable success by winning a total of 4 awards: 3 Silver and 1 Bronze.

At the Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO) held in Struga, North Macedonia, from 24-29 June 2025, with the participation of 135 outstanding students from 23 countries, students trained under the TÜBİTAK 2202 Science Olympiads Program returned home with 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals.

The 2024 Summit of the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO), which positions itself as the Global Innovation Family and aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas, information and experience among its member organizations and to ensure the coordination of technological applications at regional and international levels, will be held in China/Nanjing on 13-15 November 2024.
WAITRO President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal will be the keynote speaker during the event where the Representatives from Research and Technology Institutions, universities, private sector, multilateral organizations, SMEs, public institutions and NGOs will attend the Summit. The members of WAITRO SDG Working Groups will have the opportunity to develop collaborations with other researchers and entrepreneurs. During the Summit, Digital and Green Transformation, Disaster Resistant Cities and Water and Sanitation workshops will be held under leadership of TÜBİTAK. There will also be incubators, accelerators and entrepreneurship sessions.

Within the scope of the program, researchers are given a monthly scholarship of 27,000 TL (full) and 7,500 TL (partial). Research support of up to 150,000 TL is provided for them to conduct their research. Researchers will also be able to receive direct support if they fulfill the participation conditions of the "National and International Scientific Meetings Participation Support" programs. Researchers will be able to apply for the "Scientific Training Activities Support" program within 12 months after gaining support and completing their research. If an application is made, the threshold score will be determined separately from other candidates applying to the program. The application system will be open for applications between 03 June 2024 and 12 July 2024(17.30 GMT+3:00).

A coordinator cannot apply to this program with more than one project proposal at the same time.
Applications to this program are not included in the quota for projects applied to the coordinator / researchers benefiting from TUBITAK support programs.
As of the application deadline, those who benefit from BİDEB Research Scholarships or Supports cannot apply to this program, except for the 2244 Industry Doctorate Program and 2247-B European Research Council (ERC) Support Program.
The coordinator is expected to successfully complete a European Research Council (ERC) project in order to benefit from this support again.
The Researcher Information System (ARBİS) record must be updated before the application.
Researchers who have previously applied to the 2247-A program and will re-apply with the same project proposal should indicate the arrangements they made in their projects during the application.
Researchers who are entitled to receive support must conduct their research in Turkiye.
Within the scope of this program, researchers who are entitled to receive support must trained at least two qualified researchers.
The Blockchain Competition, organized under the technical leadership of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM (Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center) and the overall coordination of the Directorate for Science and Society, aims to increase interest in blockchain technology and contribute to the development of Türkiye’s knowledge base and qualified human resources in this field. The main vision of the competition is to help blockchain technology, which continues to evolve within an open-source and global ecosystem, become not only a field of application in Türkiye but also an area of production and development. Within the scope of the competition, participants are expected to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to current problems encountered in areas such as public administration, finance, banking, education, supply chains, and similar fields.
The competition is open to associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as graduates, studying in Türkiye or abroad. The teams that are successful in this stage will submit their Project Presentation Reports in the next phase. Based on the evaluation in the Online Project Presentation stage, the teams that qualify to participate in the competition will be determined.

The Hyperloop Development Competition, organized under the technical leadership of TÜBİTAK RUTE (Rail Transportation Technologies Institute) and the overall coordination of the Directorate for Science and Society, is designed as a technology-focused competition that enables the development of various magnetic levitation and propulsion systems. Organized in 2026 in three different categories, namely the Performance Category, Technology Demonstration Category, and Defined Problem Solution Category, the competition aims to support the university-level development of innovative fifth-generation transportation technologies and cultivate qualified human resources in this field. The Hyperloop Development Competition is also expected to contribute to the effective examination and improved applicability of next-generation transportation technologies in Türkiye.
The Hyperloop Development Competition is open to associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students studying in Türkiye or abroad. In the Performance Category of the competition, teams that have successfully passed the Technical Design Report stage are now eligible to submit their capsule test videos.

Held in Thessaloniki, Greece from 3 to 8 May 2026, the 43rd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) brought together 148 students from 24 countries. This prestigious international competition aims to support and encourage talented young mathematicians in the field of mathematics. Representing our country, our students won two gold medals and four silver medals.
Under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program carried out by TÜBİTAK BİDEB, our young scientists, who were trained to represent our country at the international level, achieved the following outstanding results; Ege Akgün and Alperen İnan gold medals, Tuğra Özbey Eratlı, Selim Doğan, Mustafa Dortluoğlu and Umut Kağan Yazgan silver medals. Our students made us immensely proud by ranking first among the participating countries with their outstanding total team score.

Representing Türkiye at the 60th Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, our national team has returned home with remarkable achievements, bringing great pride to our country.
Held in Moscow, Russia, from April 15 to 23, 2026, the 60th Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad brought together 160 students from 37 countries. This prestigious international competition brings together talented students in the field of chemistry. Representing our country, our students won two Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal.
Under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program carried out by TÜBİTAK, our young scientists trained to represent our country at the international level achieved outstanding results: Bahri Eren Sarıkaya and Kaan Doğan won silver medals, while Mustafa Efe Cesur won a bronze medal.

Held in Udine, Italy from 25 September to 1 October 2025, the Olympiad saw 69 students from 16 countries compete, with our students winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.

Held in Sucre, Bolivia from 27 July to 3 August 2025, the 37th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) brought together 332 students from 87 countries.
This prestigious international competition aims to support and encourage talented young scientists in the field of computer science. Representing our country, our students won one Silver Medal and two Bronze Medals.

R&D is innovative activities carried out on a systematic basis in order to increase scientific and technical knowledge, and the use of knowledge in new applications (product, process). Innovation, on the other hand, refers to a set of scientific, technological, financial and commercial activities aimed at transforming an idea into an improved or new and salable product or process.
With the 1507 SME R&D Startup Support Program, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can be more competitive by improving their technology and innovation capacities, be able to carry out systematic projects, develop products with high added value, have a corporate research technology development culture, national and international support to take part more effectively in their programmes.
1507 SME R&D Support Program is carried out on call.
The support provided is in the form of grants (non-refundable).
Unless otherwise stated in the call announcement, there is no subject limitation for projects. Applications can be made for R&D projects from all sectors and all technology fields.
The project support period is specified in the call announcement and cannot exceed 18 months in accordance with the Implementation Principles of the Program. The project budget is maximum 3.000,000 TL. It is aimed to support the first 5 projects of the company, both of which are partners, by TUBITAK. Limit on the number of projects to be submitted within the scope of the call, etc. other special conditions are specified in the call announcements.

Representing Türkiye at the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad, our national team returned home with remarkable achievements, bringing great pride to our country.
Held in Busan, South Korea, from May 17 to 25, 2026, the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad brought together 209 students from 27 countries. Representing our country, our students completed the competition with 2 bronze medals and 6 honorable mentions.
Under the 2202 Science Olympiads Program carried out by TÜBİTAK, our young scientists, who were trained to represent our country at the international level, achieved the following outstanding results: Mert Andaç Karan and Rüzgar Kuşaklı won bronze medals, while Eren Akarsu, Ömer Akhan, Şenol Tarhan, Yiğit Koca, Kaan Arif Say and Eyüp Efe Şimşek received honorable mention awards.
