International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle are organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions. The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is being held since 2005 Electric Vehicle Efficiency Challenge Races.
The objectives of “Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle”, organized by TÜBİTAK since 2005, are to contribute to technologic development, create awareness of alternative and clean energy sources, and provide the participants with knowledge and professional and social experience. In this regard, it is necessary to closely follow global technological advancements and changes. When we look at the research and practices all over the world concerning electrical vehicles, we see that battery-fed vehicles are at the forefront and in the near future battery-fed vehicles will become common in our daily lives.
The competition consists of two categories: Electromobile and Hydromobile.
Students from universities in Turkey and abroad (bachelor, master, doctorate) can participate.
Within the scope of the race, teams are required to prepare a progress and technical design report. Teams that do not send the reports and are not successful in the reports cannot participate in the race.
40.000 TRY preparation support and 25.000 TRY vehicle transfer support are given to teams participating from within Turkey. At the end of the race, 100.000 TRY for the teams that came first in their categories, 90.000 TRY for the second placed teams and 80.000 TRY for the third placed teams. 30.000 TRY Visual Design and Jury Awards; Domestic Product Awards worth 60.000 TRY, 50.000 TRY, 40.000 TRY.
The race will be held at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus between March 8 – 12, 2023.
