Large Scale Scholarships for Doctoral Students from TÜBİTAK

Doctoral students fulfilling success conditions will be able to receive scholarships up to 4500 Turkish Liras per month within the scope of the program that can be applied until July 27.

TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal made statements about "Domestic Doctoral Scholarship Programs". In order to provide a double scholarship opportunity to successful doctoral students, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal said that "doctoral students fulfilling success conditions will be able to receive scholarships up to 4500 Turkish Liras per month within the scope of the program that can be applied until July 27”. Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal stated that TÜBİTAK continued to contribute to the development processes of qualified human resources needed in our country and started a new and innovative implementation in this context in line with the targets of Turkey in 2023. Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal emphasized that they, as an institution, show great effort to bring support to scientific studies to highest levels and in this context, he reported that they opened "Domestic Doctoral Scholarship Programs" Call in order to provide a double scholarship opportunity to successful doctoral students. While giving information about Domestic Doctoral Scholarship Programs Call, TÜBİTAK President drew attention to the fact that doctoral students receiving scholarship from other public institutions/organizations or students receiving Higher Education Council (YÖK) 100/2000 Doctorate Scholarship can benefit from these opportunities depending on their success and performance.

Scholarship of 4500 Turkish Liras Per Month

Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal listed the conditions sought in the scholarship holders as follows: “The articles of our doctoral scholarship holders who will benefit from the call for Domestic Doctoral Scholarship Programs should be published in journals scanned by international field indexes or in the journals within the scope of TÜBİTAK Turkish Academic Network and Information Center (ULAKBİM) TR Index. Whether the scholars have a full-text oral presentation presented at scientific meetings is also a criterion. In addition, taking part in a project for at least one-year duration as the last day of the application date of in Doctoral Scholarship Programs as scholarship holder of Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB) and Academic Research Funding Program Directorate (ARDEB).

Prof. Dr. Mandal said that doctoral scholarship holders will be entitled to receive concurrent scholarship if at least two of the criteria for success are met. While stating that applications can be made to the Domestic Doctoral Scholarship Program Call until July 27, President of TÜBİTAK mentioned that doctoral students fulfilling success conditions will be able to receive scholarships up to 4500 Turkish Liras per month.
