The first results of the EuroHPC-2024-CEI-AI-02 call, which will be supported to accelerate artificial intelligence studies with access to high-performance computing resources, technical support during the use of these resources, access to ready and high quality datasets for innovative studies of the industry and public sector in Europe, have been announced. Türkiye, together with Portugal and Romania in the Spanish consortium, took part in the BSC Artificial Intelligence Factory (BSC AIF) project proposal. It was decided to support this project, together with 6 other proposed projects, in order to strengthen artificial intelligence innovation in Europe.
This initiative is a major milestone with a €1.5 billion investment in artificial intelligence excellence across Europe. Türkiye's participation as a partner in the ‘BSC AIF’ project, which will be hosted by the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC) in Spain, will increase the competence of our country in the field of artificial intelligence and accelerate artificial intelligence projects in industry and public sector.
