The call aims to support transdisciplinary projects on cultural heritage and climate change, foster collaboration among research communities in various regions, and contribute to global knowledge advancement and policy change.
The Belmont Forum invites research proposals that address at least one of the following three themes:
- The impact of climate change on cultural heritage,
- Cultural heritage as a resource for climate mitigation and adaptation,
- Sustainable solutions for cultural heritage,
The international consortiums that will present projects within the scope of the relevant call must consist of institutions or organizations in at least 3 different call partner countries.
For projects involving partners from Türkiye, applications should be made to both Belmont Forum and TÜBİTAK. Before the application, the national application rules should be examined in detail. In case of non-compliance with the application rules, the application will be returned without being evaluated.
