Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün and President of TUBİTAK Prof. Dr. Yücel Altunbaşak announced new decrees that were adopted in the 24th meeting of Supreme Council for Science and Technology (SCST) which was held on 7th August, 2012.
Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün and President of TUBİTAK Prof. Dr. Yücel Altunbaşak announced new decrees that were adopted in the 24th meeting of Supreme Council for Science and Technology (SCST) which was held on 7th August, 2012.
The following nine new decrees were adopted relevant to the theme of the meeting that "The role of education and human resources to reach national targets for the year 2023" which constitutes the most recent STI priorities in Turkey (Decrees can be previewed in Turkish):
- Conducting Educational Assessment Studies for Evaluating and Improving the Quality of Education System [2012/101]
- Developing Digital Contents for Primary and Secondary Education Curriculum and Making Them Accessible [2012/102]
- Promoting Development of Digital Course Contents for Higher Education and Making Them Accessible [2012/103]
- Revising Teaching Programmes and Designing Educational Contents To Enable Students Acquire Core Competencies More Efficiently [2012/104]
- Developing Alternative Models for Foreign Language Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education [2012/105]
- Restructuring Scholarship Programs for Graduate Students to Study Abroad [2012/106]
- Organization of Science Fairs for the Primary And Secondary School Students [2012/107]
- Restructuring the System of Admission to Higher Education [2012/108]
- Conducting Preparatory Work for the Participation of Turkey to Horizon 2020- Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2014-2020 [2012/109]
