The TÜBİTAK Science Fellowship Department (BİDEB) will hold three separate competitions for university students in 2014. Applications began on 2 January.
As the organiser of several competitions for high school and university students, BİDEB has determined the calendar of competitions for 2014. Applications are being accepted for three competitions, namely “University Entrepreneurship and Innovativeness”, “Undergraduate Students’ Software Projects”, and “Industry-Oriented Graduation Projects”, as of 2 January. The final exhibitions and award ceremonies of the three competitions will be held between 23 and 25 June 2014.
2238 – “University Entrepreneurship and Innovativeness Competition”

The “University Entrepreneurship and Innovativeness Competition” aims at instilling a culture of entrepreneurship among young people. Another purpose of the competition is to help university students realise their business ideas. The competition is open to two-year degree students, undergraduates, graduate students, and students of open education faculties.

The “Undergraduate Students’ Software Projects Competition” encourages undergraduate students to find innovative entrepreneurial solutions to the challenges faced in this country using information technologies and to develop their knowledge and skills for this purpose.

The “Industry-Oriented Graduation Projects Competition” supports the graduation projects of undergraduate students addressing a problem faced by industry and any potential products, methods, process improvements, and developments in industry.
