The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP), supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Global Environment Facility, supports next-generation clean technology innovators who will provide sustainable solutions for combating climate change, ensuring a just energy transition, and achieving low-carbon sustainable development.
The SME Support Program for 1707 Order Based R&D Projects with GCIP Partners aims to transform solution proposals, designed to meet the needs of Customer Organizations, into R&D activities by SMEs accepted into the GCIP Turkey Accelerator program, and to achieve commercializable outputs. Through co-financing, TÜBİTAK, the Customer Organization, and UNIDO will enable SMEs to carry out demand-driven R&D activities in this important process.
SMEs are delivering innovative products and processes with ready customers. The program provides a basis for sharing financial risks among industrial organizations and for reaching agreements on intellectual property rights. It also allows organizations with relatively more project management experience to transfer their know-how to SMEs.
Project applications will be received through the Technology and Innovation Funding Programs Administration (TEYDEB) Project Evaluation and Monitoring System (PRODİS) between 1September 2025 – 31 October 2025 (23:59 UTC+3).
