Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call, which aims to transform artificial intelligence technologies into products or solutions based on the needs of client organizations and to activate the Turkish Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem, was first launched in 2022. A total of 41 projects have been supported with 215,530,447 TL in funding through the periodic calls held annually to date.
The fourth edition of the Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call will be launched on 15 May 2025.
Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call supports the transformation of AI technologies developed by companies based in Türkiye—who commit to implementing the project outcomes in Türkiye—into products or solutions tailored to the needs of other companies that require AI solutions internally. This is achieved by leveraging the knowledge and expertise of universities and public research centers/institutes.
In the 2025 call, five priority areas will be supported under the programme:
Smart Manufacturing Systems
Smart Agriculture, Food, and Livestock
Financial Technologies
Climate Change and Sustainability
Smart Education Technologies
In this support model, our companies that need artificial intelligence solutions must come together as a technology provider with at least one company and at least one university research laboratory/centre or public research centre/institute experienced in this field to form a consortium. The consortium must sign a cooperation agreement with TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute before the application.
TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute will be responsible for anonymizing and disseminating the outcomes of the projects to the broader ecosystem. The institute will also actively participate in the monitoring activities during the project development phase and provide technical support to the consortia in project management and AI-related matters.
Project proposals must be submitted via the TEYDEB Project Evaluation and Monitoring System (PRODİS) between 15 May 2025 – 31 August 2025 (23:59 UTC+3).
Pre-registration procedures must be completed, and required documents submitted to TÜBİTAK by 27 August 2025 (17:30 UTC+3).
Organizations that have completed the pre-registration process will then be able to submit their project proposals to TÜBİTAK through the PRODİS system by the final deadline.
