2204-D High School Students Climate Change Research Projects Competition, organized under the technical leadership of TÜBİTAK BİDEB (Directorate for Scientist Support Programs) and the overall coordination of the Directorate for Science and Society, aims to raise awareness among high school students about climate change, encourage them to carry out studies on the sustainable use of natural resources in Türkiye, build public awareness on this issue, and support the development of solutions to the adverse impacts of climate change. In 2026, the competition is organized in the following six main fields and 22 sub-fields under these main fields:

Economic Sectors
Air and Climate
Water Research
Sustainability and Welfare
Public Awareness
In the competition, which is open to high school students studying in Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, teams that are successful in the preliminary evaluation stage will qualify to participate in the final evaluations to be held online.
Evaluation results are available on the Project Management System (PYS).
