In 2019, with the establishment of the Polar Research Institute within the Marmara Research Centre of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK MAM PRI), an institutional structure for polar sciences was established. The 8th Turkish Polar Sciences Symposium is planned to be held on 8 November 2024 at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus (UME Conference Hall) and online (HYBRID), under the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM PRI, which undertakes many important tasks, including the organisation of Turkish Polar Science Expeditions and conducting various research in polar regions.
Important Note: Abstracts only submitted by researchers working at or graduate students studying at research institutions and/or universities in Türkiye or other countries will be considered. Participation in the symposium is free of charge.
