European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) of which TÜBİTAK has been the coordinator institution since 1993, supports international collaborative projects of life scientists within the scope of Advanced Collaboration Grants. Advanced Collaboration Grants provide support for group leaders who wish to engage in exchange visits to develop or carry out collaborative projects. Proposals should be constructed jointly with the host laboratories in EMBC Member States, Associate Member States or Cooperation Partners.
The programme contributes towards travel costs and daily subsistence of the recipients. Group leaders are supported for their visits of one week (seven days) up to six months (180 days) with a maximum of three trips paid by EMBO. Researchers in the home laboratory are supported for their visits of one week (seven days) up to three months (90 days) with one trip paid by EMBO.
