Blockchain Competition, conducted under the technical leadership of the TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (BİLGEM) and coordinated by the Directorate for Science and Society, aims to increase interest in blockchain technology and strengthen Türkiye’s knowledge base and qualified human resources in this field. The competition’s core vision is to help Türkiye become not only a user of blockchain technology, which continues to evolve within an open-source and global ecosystem, but also a producer and developer in this field. Within the scope of the competition, participants are expected to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to current challenges in areas such as public administration, finance, banking, education and supply chains.
The competition is open to associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctoral students studying in Türkiye or abroad, as well as graduates. Teams that successfully completed the online Project Presentation stage have qualified to participate in the Competition Finals. The finalist teams will present their projects to the evaluation jury during the Competition Finals.
