CETPartnership Joint Call 2026 is Open for Application

2026 Joint Call of the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership), a co-funded partnership under the Horizon Europe Programme, has opened.

The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a co-funded partnership under the Horizon Europe Programme’s co-funding partnerships framework. It brings together a large number of regional and national research, technology development, and innovation programmes from within and outside Europe in order to strengthen the clean energy transition and contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Through this partnership, R&D and innovation projects supporting the clean energy transition across Europe are intended to be funded. The CETPartnership Joint Call 2026 was opened on 8 June 2026.

The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a Co-funded Partnership supported under the Climate, Energy and Mobility Cluster of the Horizon Europe Programme. Through CETPartnership, it is aimed to implement R&D and innovation projects that will contribute to the clean energy transition across Europe. In this framework, projects selected for funding are evaluated by an international peer review panel and subsequently funded by national funding agencies of the participating countries.

Project proposals submitted under the call must comply with both the international call requirements and the national rules and regulations of the participating countries. Consortia must consist of at least three partners from at least three different countries participating in the relevant CETPartnership call module, of which at least two must be EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Each partner will be funded by its respective national funding organisation.

Eligible thematic areas under the CETPartnership Joint Call include:

  • Integrated energy system resilience in a changing environment

  • Energy system flexibility in a high renewable energy sources (RES) scenario: energy generation, storage and system integration

  • Advanced renewable energy technologies for power production (R&I focused)

  • Industrial carbon management

  • Hydrogen and renewable fuels

  • Stationary battery technologies and systems for climate-neutral industry and the built environment

  • Heating and cooling technologies

  • Integrated regional energy systems

  • Integrated industrial energy systems

  • Clean energy integration in the built environment

In addition to international project applications to be submitted to the call secretariat, it is also mandatory for researchers from Türkiye to take part in the projects to submit a national project application to TÜBİTAK. Project proposals to be submitted from our country within the scope of this call will be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1071 Support Program for Increasing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations. Since the application may be returned without being evaluated in case of non-compliance with the application rules, the national application rules has been given below and must be examined in detail before applying.

Applications:

International applications are submitted via the CETPartnership Project Submission System.

National applications are submitted via the TÜBİTAK Project Application System.
