The objective of the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition is for teams to design a rocket capable of adapting to an Suspension System (e.g., crane) provided by the Competition Committee, and to ensure a controlled descent using a Cold Gas Propulsion System after the rocket is released.
The competition is open to associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as graduates, studying in Türkiye or abroad. The teams that succeed in this stage will move on to the Launch Readiness Report phase. Based on the results of this report, the teams that qualify for Trial Launches will be determined. Once trial launches are completed and the flight suitability evaluations of the competition vehicles are finalized, the teams eligible to participate in the final competition will be announced.
