International and Inter-High School Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Competitions, carried out under the TÜBİTAK Directorate for Science and Society (BİTO), aim to guide students toward UAV technologies, support them in developing their knowledge, skills and competencies through studies in this field, and encourage skill- and capability-oriented flight practices with UAVs through different competition categories.
Organized in 2026 in three categories, namely Fixed-Wing, Rotary-Wing and Free Mission, the International and Inter-High School UAV Competitions also contribute to the development of innovative ideas by positioning Türkiye as a meeting point for successful students in the field of UAV technologies.
The Inter-High School UAV Competition is open to high school students studying in Türkiye or abroad, while the International UAV Competition is open to high school, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctoral students studying in Türkiye or abroad. Teams that successfully completed the Preparation and Mission Video stage have qualified to participate in the competition final. The finalist teams will perform their flights following the technical inspections to be conducted at the competition area.
