M-ERA.NET 3 project 2025 call has been launched as of March 4, 2025, to coordinate national research strategies, promote excellence, and enhance competitiveness in the field of advanced materials engineering technologies. The call focuses on the following topics:
• Sustainable Advanced Materials for Energy
• Innovative Surfaces, Coatings, and Interfaces
• Advanced Composites and Lightweight Materials
• Functional Materials
• Materials Addressing Environmental Challenges
• Next-Generation Materials for Electronics
The call will follow a two-stage application process, with the first-stage proposal submission deadlines scheduled as follows:
• Deadline for submitting stage 1 proposals (pre-proposals) via the M-ERA.NET portal: http://www.m-era.net – 13 May 2025 (12.00 UTC+1)
• Deadline for the approval of the Phase 1 national application to be submitted via TÜBİTAK PBS (https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/) is 15 May 2025 (23:59 UTC+3)
• Deadline for submitting the stage 1 national application via TÜBİTAK PBS (https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/) 20 May 2025 (23:59 UTC+3) (Submission must be completed with an electronic signature.)

Applicants are funded by their respective national funding organizations. In Turkey, firms and researchers will be supported under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Support Program for Enhancing International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations.
