The Robotaxi Full-Scale Autonomous Vehicle Competition, organized under the technical leadership of TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (BİLGEM) and the overall coordination of the Directorate for Science and Society, aims to develop autonomous driving algorithms. In the Ready Vehicle Category, teams run the software they have developed on autonomous vehicle platforms provided by TEKNOFEST, while in the Unique Vehicle Category, teams participate in the competition by carrying out the entire vehicle production and software development process from start to finish.
The competition is open to high school, associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as graduates, studying in Türkiye or abroad. In the Ready Vehicle Category of the competition, teams that are successful based on the Simulation Report and Presentation evaluation have qualified to participate in the Ready Vehicle Camp and compete as finalists.
