Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, conducted under the technical leadership of the TÜBİTAK Defense Industries Research and Development Institute (SAGE) and coordinated by the Directorate for Science and Society (BİTO), aims to develop precision control, balance, and safe landing capabilities in rocket systems.
Throughout the competition process, teams are encouraged to gain application-oriented experience by working on rocket design, system integration, and controlled landing scenarios. In this respect, the competition contributes to the development of qualified human resources in the field of rocket technologies.
The competition is open to associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctoral students, as well as graduates, studying in Türkiye or abroad. Teams that successfully passed the Launch Readiness Report stage have qualified to conduct trial launches at the TÜBİTAK SAGE Campus. Following the completion of trial launches and flight suitability evaluations of the competition vehicles, the teams eligible to participate in the competition will be announced.
