Water4All (Water Security for the Planet) is a Partnership project funded in Horizon Europe Programme by the European Commission, aimed at reducing water stress, improving water resource management, and ensuring the adaptation of water resources to global changes by 2030.
The 2026 Joint Transnational Call (JTC) launched under the Water4All European Partnership, with the participation of 32 funding organisations from Europe and beyond, opened on 8 September 2026. The call aims to support research and innovation projects that contribute to long-term water security.
The general theme of the call: “Sustainable Water Management” (excluding extreme events and circularity).
Research and innovation proposals submitted under the Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call are required to address at least one of the following topics:
Topic 1: Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management.
Topic 2: Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at hydrological and hydrogeological system scale.
Topic 3: Smart, secure and adaptive water infrastructures.
Topic 4: Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive governance.

Project applications will follow a two-stage process, and proposals passing the first stage will be invited to apply for the second stage. In addition to the international application, during the Stage 1 application process, the Turkish institutions/organizations involved in the project must also submit a Stage 1 national application to TÜBİTAK via PBS, with an electronic signature, by the specified deadline.
