STAR aims to encourage undergraduate students and teachers to engage in research by participating in scientific projects. STAR Programme gives support for undergraduate students and teachers who will be scholar at projects, which are funded by TÜBİTAK, conducted in TÜBITAK Institutes or funded by Research Universities Support Program (ADEP) of Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

In 2nd Term of 2025, applications are received from undergraduate students and teachers within the scope of the following calls.

TRUBA altyapısında yer alan ARF-ACC süperbilgisayar sistemi, 18 Kasım 2025’te açıklanan uluslararası TOP500 listesinde 145. sıraya yükselerek dikkat çekici bir başarıya imza attı. Haziran 2025 sıralamasında 266. sırada yer alan sistem, NVIDIA H200 GPU yatırımıyla 121 basamaklık yükseliş gerçekleştirdi.

Green500 ve HPCG Listelerinde de Üst Sıralarda

ARF-ACC enerji verimliliği açısından dünyanın en çevreci süperbilgisayarlarının sıralandığı Green500 listesinde 45. sıraya yerleşti. ARF-ACC sistemi, bilimsel hesaplamaların gerçekçi performansını ölçen HPCG testlerinde ise Haziran 2025’te 118. sırada iken 48 basamak ilerleyerek Kasım 2025’te 70. sıraya yerleşti. Bu dikkat çekici sıçrama sistemin uygulama düzeyindeki yüksek verimliliğini net biçimde ortaya koydu.

Bu sonuçlar, TRUBA'nın hem performans hem de sürdürülebilirlik alanında uluslararası rekabet gücünü tescilledi.

Yeni GPU Yatırımlarıyla Kapasite Arttı

2024’te H100 GPU bileşenleriyle güçlendirilen ARF sistemi, 2025 yılında eklenen 192 adet NVIDIA H200 GPU ile yapay zekâ ve veri yoğun uygulamalar için önemli bir kapasite artışı sağladı. TRUBA’nın önümüzdeki dönemde dünya sıralamalarında daha üst basamaklara çıkması bekleniyor.

Türkiye’nin Bilim ve Ar-Ge Ekosistemine Stratejik Katkı

TRUBA, akademi, kamu ve özel sektörün Ar-Ge faaliyetlerinde kritik rol üstlenerek:

• Ulusal bilimsel üretimi hızlandırıyor,

• Yapay zekâ ve makine öğrenmesi alanlarında küresel rekabet gücünü artırıyor,

• İklim, enerji, malzeme bilimi ve mühendislik alanlarında öncü çalışmalara olanak sağlıyor,

• Araştırmacılara açık, kapsayıcı, sürdürülebilir bir hesaplama ekosistemi sunuyor.

   

TÜBİTAK desteğiyle, 81 ilde Milli Teknoloji Atölyesi kurma hedefi doğrultusunda, ilk ikisi Bursa ve Kocaeli’de açılan “Milli Teknoloji Atölyeleri”nin üçüncüsü Kastamonu Üniversitesinde faaliyete geçti. 

Açılış törenine Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanımız Sayın Mehmet Fatih Kacır’ın yanı sıra Kastamonu Milletvekili Sayın Fatma Serap Ekmekçi, Kastamonu Valisi Sayın Meftun Dallı, Kastamonu Üniversitesi Rektörü Sayın Ahmet Hamdi Topal ile TÜBİTAK Bilim ve Toplum Başkanımız Sayın Ömer Kökçam katıldı.

Teknoloji Yolculuğunda Gençlere Büyük Destek

Yeni açılan Milli Teknoloji Atölyesinde gençler yurt içi ve dışında katılacakları yarışmalar için danışmanlık hizmeti alabilecek, gerekli sanayi iş birlikleri için desteklenecek, eğitim programlarıyla kişisel ve teknik becerilerini geliştirebilecekler. Kastamonu Milli Teknoloji Atölyesinde CNC Router’dan 3 boyutlu yazıcı ve tarayıcıya, elektronik lehimleme ve montaj ekipmanlarından torna tezgâhına dek gençlerin projelerini hayata geçirirken kullanabilecekleri pek çok alet ve malzeme bulunuyor. 

“Kastamonu’nun gençleri Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi’nin bayraktarları olacaklar.”

Konuşmasında Kastamonu Üniversitesinin TÜBİTAK projeleri ile TEKNOFEST yarışmalarındaki başarısına vurgu yapan Bakan Kacır ilk Milli Teknoloji Atölyelerinden birinin Kastamonu’da açılmış olmasına dair duyduğu memnuniyeti dile getirdi. Kacır ayrıca “Görüyoruz ki Kastamonu’nun gençleri Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi’nin bayraktarları olacaklar.” diyerek bilhassa Kastamonulu gençler ile kadınların istihdam ve girişimcilik yolculuğunda Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı olarak her daim yanlarında olduklarını vurguladı.

100 Milli Teknoloji Atölyesi Hedefi

Sözlerini “Anadolu’nun tüm şehirlerinde Türkiye’nin bilim ve teknoloji atılımına, Milli Teknoloji Hamlemize katılacak gençleri ve çocukları keşfetmek bizim için çok kıymetli.” şeklinde sürdüren Bakan Kacır, önümüzdeki sene sonuna dek Anadolu’nun dört bir yanına 100 Milli Teknoloji Atölyesi açma hedeflerini hatırlattı. 

“Türkiye’nin kritik teknolojileri kendi imkânlarıyla üreten bir ülke olma yolculuğuna sahip çıkacağız.”

Bakan Kacır konuşmasını şu sözlerle tamamladı: “Bir yandan Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızın liderliğinde Türkiye’nin Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi yolculuğunu en ileri hedeflere taşıyacak, tam bağımsızlık şiarımızdan asla taviz vermeksizin Türkiye’nin kritik teknolojileri kendi imkân ve kabiliyetleriyle geliştiren ve üreten bir ülke olma yolculuğuna en güçlü şekilde sahip çıkacak, bir yandan da yerel kalkınma hamlesi perspektifiyle kalkınmayı, refahı Anadolu’nun dört bir yanına hızla el birliğiyle taşıyacağız.”

Milli Teknoloji Atölyeleri Amaç ve Önemi

Ülkemizin Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi hedefleri doğrultusunda öğrencilerimizin hayallerini, fikirlerini ve projelerini hayata geçirmelerine olanak sağlamak amacıyla 81 ilde Milli Teknoloji Atölyesi kurma hedefimiz var. 

Bu atölyelerde, milli teknolojiler geliştirecek ve üretecek gençlerimize destek vererek yerli ve milli sanayimiz için ihtiyaç duyulan nitelikli insan kaynağını yetiştirecek ve girişimci gençlerimizin ihtiyacı olan teknik ve mesleki eğitim süreçlerini destekleyeceğiz.

Üniversitelerde ve TÜBİTAK destekli eğitim kurumları ile bilim merkezlerimizde Milli Teknoloji Atölyeleri kurarak bilim ve teknoloji yarışmalarına katılacak takımlara ihtiyaç duyduğu makine, teçhizat ve sarf malzeme desteği sağlayacağız.

Ulusal ve uluslararası bilim ve teknoloji yarışmalarına hazırlanan ortaokul, lise, lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencileri ve mezunlarının hedef kitle olduğu Milli Teknoloji Atölyeleri kapsamında ekipman ve sarf yardımının yanı sıra danışmanlık, eğitim programları, sanayi iş birlikleri, tanıtım ve farkındalık çalışmaları ile ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmalar için hazırlık desteği sağlanacak.

The South East Asia-Europe Joint Funding Scheme (SEA-EU JFS) Call for proposals 2025 is now open for applications.

Under the SEA-EU JFS 2025 Call, applications can be submitted in the thematic areas of “New Materials and Green Transfition” and “Climate Resilient, Smart Agriculture using AI and IoT”. Within this framework, selected projects will be evaluated by an international panel of experts and subsequently funded by the respective national funding agencies.

According to the international call rules, each project consortium must consist of at least three independent institutions/organisations from at least three different countries participating in the call, so that both regions are represented. Detailed information on the international call rules can be accessed via this page. 

In addition to submitting project applications to the call secretariat, it is mandatory for researchers from Türkiye participating in the projects to also submit a national project application to TÜBİTAK. Project proposals submitted from Türkiye under this call will be supported through TÜBİTAK's 1071 Support Programme for Increasing Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Cooperation. Failure to comply with the application rules may result in the application being returned without evaluation. Therefore, it is essential to thoroughly review the national application rules before submission.

Since 2007, TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate have been supporting projects that aim to carry out scientific activities for different segments of society, from preschool children to undergraduate students and teachers.

In this context, our program, launched in 2022, aims to raise awareness among individuals with special needs, to facilitate their integration into society by providing support in education and independent living and to promote the dissemination of scientific applications designed for their needs.

Several significant updates and improvements have been made for the 2025 call period. Key changes include:

• Updates have been made to the scope of the program.

• The maximum support limit, Project Incentive Bonus amount and project team fees have been increased.

• The practice of awarding an additional +1 point to project proposals whose participants consist solely of individuals with special needs was continued.

2007 yılından bu yana Bilim ve Toplum Başkanlığı tarafından yürütülen bilim ve toplum destek programları ile okul öncesi dönemi çocuklarından lisans öğrencilerine, öğretmenlere, toplumun farklı kesimlerine yönelik bilimsel etkinlikler yapmayı hedefleyen projeler desteklenmektedir.

Bu kapsamda 2022 yılında açılan programımız ile özel gereksinimli bireylerde farkındalık oluşturmak, eğitim ve bağımsız yaşam konularında destek sağlayarak toplumla bütünleşmelerini kolaylaştırmak ve özel gereksinimli bireylere yönelik bilimsel uygulamaların yaygınlaşmasını sağlamak hedeflenmektedir.

2025 yılı çağrı dönemi kapsamında gerçekleştirilen yeniliklerden bazıları:

• Çağrı kapsamında güncellemeler yapıldı.

• PTİ ve destek miktarları güncellendi.

• Katılımcılarının tamamı sadece özel gereksinimli bireylerden oluşan proje önerilerine +1 (bir) ek puan ilave edilmesine yönelik uygulamaya devam edildi.

TÜBİTAK continues to fulfill the dreams of young and innovative entrepreneur candidates come true through the Individual Young Entrepreneur "BiGG" program. Since its initiation in 2012, a total of 2,578 entrepreneurs have established their companies and brought their business ideas to life through the program. 

In the 2025 2^nd call of BiGG, 2,465 entrepreneurs submitted their business ideas. 149 implementing organizations provided accelerator services, including training, mentoring, incubation, collaboration network utilization, and customer validation support in the 1^st stage of the program to 1,850 entrepreneur candidates. After the accelerator program, 472 matured business plans have been evaluated by TÜBİTAK. As a result of assessments by academics, industry professionals, and investors, 107 entrepreneurs were deemed eligible for the Seal of Excellence in the 2025 2^nd call. With the addition of 2 entrepreneurs who previously received the Seal of Excellence under co-investment, a total of 109 entrepreneurs have been awarded the Seal of Excellence.

Within the scope of the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) carried out by TÜBİTAK in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), 3 business plans selected from among the business plans in the field of clean technologies that were awarded the Seal of Excellence and requested additional investment, have been awarded an investment of 1,500,000 TL in total in exchange for a 5% share, including 600,000 TL GCIP additional investment, as a result of TÜBİTAK evaluations. 

Between 2012 and 2025, a Total of 2,687 Tech Startups Have Qualified for BiGG Support

Along with the entrepreneurs who have earned the Seal of Excellence in the BiGG 2025 2^nd call, a total of 2,687 startup companies will be established by benefiting from the program.

As a result of the panel and TÜBİTAK BİGG Fund evaluations, 107 entrepreneurs who have been awarded the Seal of Excellence will establish their companies, sign contracts with the BİGG Fund, and start working to implement their technology-focused business plans.

Company establishment processes must be carried out following the TÜBİTAK notification to benefit from the advantages provided by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.

Entrepreneurs are kindly requested to log into the system at TÜBİTAK TEYDEB using the “Girişimci” role and check the project status code in order to access information regarding the support status of their projects.

TÜBİTAK, Bireysel Genç Girişim “BİGG” programı ile genç ve yenilikçi girişimci adaylarının hayallerini gerçekleştirmeye devam ediyor. 2012 yılında başlatılan program kapsamında bugüne kadar 2578 girişimci şirketlerini kurarak iş fikirlerini hayata geçirmiştir. 

BiGG Yatırım 2025 yılı 2. çağrısına 2465 girişimci, iş fikri başvurusu yapmıştır. 149 uygulayıcı kuruluş, 1850 girişimci adayına programın 1. aşaması kapsamında eğitim, mentorluk, kuluçka, iş birliği ağlarının kullanımı ve müşteri doğrulama desteklerini içerecek şekilde hızlandırıcı hizmeti sağladı. Hızlandırıcı program sonrasında olgunlaşan 472 iş planı TÜBİTAK tarafından değerlendirildi. Akademisyenler, sektör temsilcileri ve yatırımcıların değerlendirmeleri sonucu 107 girişimciye 2025 yılı 2. çağrısı kapsamında Mükemmeliyet Mührü verilmesi uygun bulunmuştur. Daha önce eş yatırım kapsamında Mükemmeliyet Mührü verilen 2 girişimcimiz ile birlikte toplamda 109 girişimcimize Mükemmeliyet Mührü verilmiş oldu. Birleşmiş Milletler Sınai Kalkınma Teşkilatı (UNIDO) iş birliğinde TÜBİTAK tarafından yürütülen Küresel Temiz Teknolojiler Girişimcilik Programı (Global Cleantech Innovation Programme-GCIP) kapsamında temiz teknolojiler alanında faaliyet gösteren, mükemmeliyet mührü almaya hak kazanan ve ek yatırım alma talebinde bulunan iş planları arasından, TÜBİTAK değerlendirmeleri sonucunda seçilen 3 iş planı 600.000 TL GCIP ek yatırımı ile birlikte toplam %5 hisse karşılığında 1.500.000 TL yatırım almaya hak kazanmıştır. 2012-2025 Yılları Arasında 2687 Teknogirişim Firması BiGG Desteği Almaya Hak Kazandı

BiGG Yatırım 2025 yılı 2. çağrısı ile Mükemmeliyet Mührü almaya hak kazanan girişimcilerle birlikte toplamda 2687 girişim firması programdan yararlanarak kurulmuş olacak.

Panel ve TÜBİTAK BİGG Fonu değerlendirmeleri sonucunda Mükemmeliyet Mührü almaya hak kazanan 107 girişimci şirketlerini kurarak BiGG Fonu ile sözleşme imzalayacak ve teknoloji odaklı iş planlarını gerçekleştirmek için çalışmalarına başlayacaktır. Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği tarafından sağlanan avantajlardan yararlanmak için girişimcilerin şirket kurma işlemlerini TÜBİTAK'ın bu hususta yapacağı bilgilendirme sonrasında başlatması gerekmektedir. 

Girişimcilerin, projelerinin desteklenme durumuna ilişkin bilgiye erişebilmek için TÜBİTAK TEYDEB üzerinden 'Girişimci' rolüyle sisteme giriş yaparak proje durum kodunu kontrol etmeleri gerekmektedir.

2568–Bilateral Cooperation Support Program with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) 2025 call scientific review process has been concluded. Information on the 4 projects that were decided to be supported by TÜBİTAK and CAS is shared below. 

2568–Çin Bilimler Akademisi (CAS) ile İkili İşbirliği Programı 2025 yılı çağrısı değerlendirme süreci sonuçlandı. TÜBİTAK ve CAS tarafından desteklenmesine karar verilen 4 projeye ilişkin bilgiler aşağıda paylaşılmaktadır. 

DENEYAP Türkiye, 21–23 Kasım 2025 tarihleri arasında Mersin Gençlik Kampı’nda düzenlenen “Eğitmen Eğitimi Programı” ile 81 ildeki 131 DENEYAP Teknoloji Atölyesinde görev yapan 400 eğitmen için bir araya geldi.

Bu kapsamlı program, eğitim kalitesini artırmayı, içerikleri teknoloji trendleriyle uyumlu hale getirmeyi ve eğitmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerini derinleştirmeyi hedefleyen DENEYAP Türkiye’nin en önemli yıllık buluşmalarından biri olarak öne çıkıyor.

Açılış programına TÜBİTAK Bilim ve Toplum Başkanımız ve DENEYAP Türkiye İcra Kurulu Başkanı Sayın Ömer Kökçam, Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı Gençlik Hizmetleri Müdürü Sayın Enes Efendioğlu ve T3 Vakfı Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Sayın Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır’ın katılım sağladığı program süresince eğitmenler, tanışma ve kaynaşma etkinliklerinin ardından teknik ve kişisel gelişime yönelik çeşitli oturumlara dahil oldu. Program, geleceğin kritik disiplinlerinden Malzeme Bilimi ve Nanoteknoloji gibi teknoloji odaklı eğitimlerle devam etti.

Eğitim kapsamında, DENEYAP Teknoloji Atölyeleri bünyesinde üstün başarı gösteren eğitmenler için bir ödül töreni de düzenlendi ve TEKNOFEST sürecinde finalist olmaya hak kazanan eğitmenler sertifika ve TÜBİTAK Popüler Bilim Yayınları'ndan 1000 TL hediye çeki ile ödüllendirildi. 

Üç yıldır geleneksel olarak düzenlenen Öğretmenler Günü kutlama programı, bu yıl da samimi ve coşkulu bir atmosferde gerçekleştirildi. Programda, öğretmenlerin emek, fedakârlık ve katkılarını öne çıkaran özel bir bölüme de yer verildi. Üç gün süren etkinlikler, katılımcıların Cennet ve Cehennem Obrukları'na düzenlenen kültür gezisi ile keyifli bir şekilde sona erdi.

DENEYAP Türkiye, bu programla eğitmenlerin bilgi ve becerilerini güçlendirmeyi, teknolojiyi öğretim süreçlerine en iyi şekilde entegre etmeyi ve geleceğin teknoloji insanlarını yetiştirmeyi sürdürmeye devam edecek.

The new Joint Transnational Call (JTC8), launched by the ERA4Health Partnership, has been announced under the title “Preventing and Understanding Overweight and Obesity (PREVENT-OO)”. This call aims to support projects that conduct an in-depth investigation to prevent and understand overweight and obesity. ERA4Health, via this call, encourages the development of preventive and therapeutic strategies—covering areas such as public health and policy development— by supporting international and multidisciplinary collaborations that investigate the causes of obesity and overweight and their complications. International research teams are also expected to develop new treatment approaches and solutions by gaining a better understanding of these interactions.

The aim of this call is to support research that:

1. Improves the understanding of the causes for obesity, overweight and its complications by using a mechanistic approach.

2. Focuses on prevention and public health strategies for critical transitional periods of life.

And more specifically:

• 1a. Investigates biological mechanisms, including chronobiological, genetic and/or epigenetic mechanisms, underlying the onset and progression of overweight and obesity, and related diseases. Secondary factors with potential influence on the biological mechanisms such as the living environment, lifestyle or psychological status should also be considered where relevant.

• 1b. Investigates how overweight and obesity contribute to the development of related clinical complications and/or affect the mechanism of action of therapeutics against other diseases/disorders.

Both subtopics 2a. and 2b. should be addressed for critical transitional periods of life only. The choice of the critical transitional periods of life to be studied must be clearly justified in the proposal. It should be due to biological changes (e.g. postpartum, menopause, andropause), or socio-environmental changes (e.g. period in between pregnancies, diagnosis of a chronic disease, recovering from disease, retirement etc.).

And more specifically:

• 2a. Understands and addresses neglected determinants, including their interdependency, in the onset and the progression of overweight and obesity in transitional periods of life.

• 2b. Develops novel tools or preventive strategies that can be implemented against the onset and the progression of overweight and obesity in transitional periods of life taking into consideration physiological, pathophysiological, psychological behavioral influences and/or socioeconomic status of the citizens/patients. Importantly, the proposal should present the assessment of the economic impact of the proposed tools or strategies on the healthcare system and issue orientations that will help policymakers to define new regulations and guidelines to prevent overweight and obesity.

In addition to submitting project applications to the call secretariat, it is mandatory for researchers from Türkiye participating in the projects to also submit a national project application to TÜBİTAK. Project proposals submitted from Türkiye under this call will be supported through TÜBİTAK's 1071 Support Programme for Increasing Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Cooperation. Failure to comply with the application rules may result in the application being returned without evaluation. Therefore, it is essential to thoroughly review the national application rules before submission.

LEAP-SE: Sürdürülebilir Enerji Alanında Avrupa Birliği (AB)-Afrika Birliği (AfB) Uzun Vadeli Ortak Araştırma ve İnovasyon Ortaklığı (Long-Term Joint EU-AU Research and Innovation Partnership on Sustainable Energy) kapsamında küresel iklim değişikliğiyle mücadele ve enerjiye erişimin artırılması amacıyla sürdürülebilir enerji alanında yenilikçi araştırma ve geliştirme projeleri desteklenecektir.

Desteklenecek projeler aracılığıyla, Afrika kıtası odaklı enerji teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesi, yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının entegrasyonu ve dijital yeniliklerden yararlanarak akıllı şebekelerin güçlendirilmesi gibi konular teşvik edilecek olup bunun yanı sıra, toplumsal ihtiyaçlara yanıt veren, ekonomik ve çevresel sürdürülebilirliği destekleyen enerji çözümlerinin geliştirilmesi ve karar alıcılar için uzun vadeli enerji senaryolarının oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda çağrıya başvuran projelerin uluslararası bir hakem kurulu tarafından değerlendirilmesinin ardından desteklenmeye hak kazanan taraflar yerleşik bulundukları ülkelerin ulusal fonlama kuruluşları tarafından finanse edilecektir.

Bu kapsamda, LEAP-SE Ortaklığı tarafından yayınlanan çağrıda yer alan konu başlıkları:

1. Yenilenebilir Enerji Kaynaklarının (YEK) Değerlendirilmesi ve YEK’in sürdürülebilir enerji senaryolarına entegrasyonu,

2. Yenilenebilir enerji bileşenlerinin kullanım ömrü sonu ve ikinci kullanım ömrü yönetimi ve çevresel etkileri,

3. Akıllı bağımsız sistemler (Smart stand‐alone systems-SAS),

4. Şebeke dışı uygulama için (farklı ölçekli) akıllı şebekeler, 

5. Üretken kullanımlar için prosesler ve cihazlar,

6. Öncelikli evsel kullanımlar için yenilikçi çözümler (temiz pişirme ve soğuk zincir),

7. Yeşil hidrojen üretimi ve kullanımı şeklinde olacaktır.
