TRANSCAN-3 launches its 4th Joint Transnational Call for research proposals (JTC 2024) on the following topic: “Combination therapies against cancer: new opportunities for translational research” with the aim of promoting highly innovative and ambitious collaborative projects in translational cancer research at European and international level. The expected impact of the call is to improve the efficacy of personalized treatment of cancer patients through the development of new combinatorial treatment strategies, based on a better understanding of drug mechanistic functions and of their impact on the disease course.
The main purpose of this call will be design of patient preclinical models for combination therapies. Translational research using tumour samples collected from retrospective and/or prospective cohorts of patients. Proposals will have to cover only one of the three specific aims listed below.
Aim 1. Development of new tumour derived models to test new drug combination therapies.
Aim 2. Design and development of high-throughput drug combination screening platforms to test new combination therapies.
Aim 3. Use of immunotherapy and radiotherapy combinations strategies to overcome drug resistance.
The first stage of international project proposals will close on 05 July 2024 (12:00, CEST) through the PT-Outline Electronic Submission System exclusively. For Turkish researchers, the deadline for the first stage of national applications is 12 July 2024 (23:59, TSI). Consortia that receive a positive evaluation in the first stage pre-proposal will be invited to proceed to the second stage.

The Technology and Innovation Support Programmes Directorate (TEYDEB) conducts the 1501-Industrial R&D Projects Grant Programme and the 1507-SME R&D Startup Grant Programme to support the project-based research, technology development, and innovation activities of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. Two calls are opened each year under these programs.

The 1707 Order R&D Program aims to transform solution proposals designed to meet the needs of Customer Organizations into commercially viable outputs by SMEs through R&D activities. TÜBİTAK and Customer Organizations facilitate SMEs' need-oriented R&D activities through co-financing during this significant process. SMEs are executing innovative products and processes tailored to their customers. Ground is being prepared for sharing financing risks among industrial organizations and understanding intellectual property rights, allowing organizations with relatively more experience in project management to transfer their experiences to SMEs.
Under the 1707 Order-Based R&D Projects SME Support Call, three separate call periods are planned for the year 2026. The draft schedule is as follows:

Within the framework of the Türkiye Green Industry Project carried out by TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of the World Bank, the technical assistance services that SMEs will receive to meet the requirements within the scope of compliance with the green transformation requirements will be supported by the 1831 Climate-informed and Green Innovation Technology Extension Program
90% of the services that companies will receive from expert organizations on issues such as technology consultancy, capacity or situation analysis, detection of current problems and solution approaches and road map preparation for current green technologies will be covered by TÜBİTAK as grant support. The support period is maximum 6 months and the upper limit of the project budget is 210,000 TL. TUBITAK will ensure that this service for SMEs is provided through Solution Partners. Scope of the Support
Within the scope of 2205-Undergraduate Scholarship Program, support is given for Turkish Citizens who received medals in the National Science Olympiads, the International Science Olympiads and the International Project Contest as well as having undergraduate education on basic science and social sciences programs determined by TÜBİTAK.
Lightweighting technology is a strategic technology field that improves performance while reducing environmental impact and requires a multidisciplinary approach at the intersection of materials, design, and digitalization. Within the scope of Eureka Network Projects, one of Eureka’s key support mechanisms, the international call on “Lightweighting Technologies” was opened on 6 May 2026 with the participation of 12 countries, including Türkiye. The call is carried out with the participation of organizations from different countries and supports projects aimed at developing market-oriented products, processes, and services with high commercialization potential.
Objective of the Call:
Lightweighting technologies aim to reduce the weight of products while maintaining or improving their performance, optimizing material use, and improving energy efficiency. In this context, the following elements are considered together:

Applications will be carried out in two stages, international and national:
Stage 1: International Application: All partners must complete the Eureka project application form available on the call web page online.
Stage 2: National Application: Participants from Türkiye must submit their national applications to the TÜBİTAK 1719–Eureka Lightweighting Technologies national call by 2 December 2026, together with the international application form.
Applications for Eureka Network-Lightweighting Technologies projects will be carried out within the framework of the national call rules under the 1719-Eureka Lightweighting Technologies code and the national call announcement titled Eureka Network 2026 Lightweighting Technologies Call Announcement.
Companies with capital company status in Türkiye, higher education institutions, public research centers and institutes, training and research hospitals, and research infrastructures within the scope of Law No. 6550 may apply to the call coded 1719–Eureka Lightweighting Technologies. Applications from these institutions are accepted only in partnership with at least one capital company. In the projects submitted under the call, the capital company must be the Project Coordinator Organization (Correspondent Organization).
Before submitting the national application, the call text must be carefully reviewed; failure to comply with the application rules may result in the application being returned without being evaluated. The national call document is provided below.

Başkanlığımız bünyesinde yürütülen 2204-A Lise Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Yarışması Programı kapsamında 2025 yılında 12 alanda 37.206 öğrencinin hazırlamış olduğu 22.586 projenin başvurusu yapıldı.
Başvurusu yapılan projeler yarışmanın ön değerlendirme aşamasında ülkemizde çeşitli üniversitelerde görev yapan akademisyenler tarafından değerlendirildi ve bu değerlendirme sonucunda 1.200 projenin sahibi toplam 2.488 öğrencimiz bölge yarışmasında projelerini sergilemeye hak kazandı.

Araştırma Destek Programları Başkanlığı tarafından 1002-Hızlı Destek Programı altında yürütülen 1002-A Hızlı Destek Modülü ve 1002-B Acil Destek Modülü kapsamında iyileştirme çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, mevcut başvuru formları ile sunulacak proje önerilerine ilişkin çevrim içi başvuruların ARDEB Proje Başvuru Sistemi (PBS) üzerinden 27/04/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar tamamlanması gerekmektedir. 27/04/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar onaylanan proje başvurularının elektronik imza süreçlerinin bu tarihten sonra tamamlanabilmesi mümkündür. 28/04/2025 tarihinden itibaren mevcut formlar ile başvuru yapılması mümkün olamayacaktır.
1002-A Hızlı Destek Modülü ve 1002-B Acil Destek Modülünün yeni süreçlerine ve başvuru formlarına ilişkin bilgilendirme 28/04/2025 tarihinden sonra duyurulacaktır.
Program kapsamında araştırmacılara aylık 27.000 TL(tam) ve 7.500 TL(kısmi) burs verilmektedir. Araştırmalarını yürütmeleri için 150.000 TL’ye kadar araştırma desteği sağlanmaktadır. Araştırmacılar ayrıca “Yurt İçi ve Yurt Dışı Bilimsel Etkinliklere Katılım Desteği” programlarının katılım koşullarını sağlamaları halinde direkt destek alabileceklerdir. Araştırmacılar, destek kazandıktan ve araştırmalarını tamamladıktan sonra 12 ay içerisinde “Bilimsel Eğitim Etkinlikleri Desteği” programına başvuru yapabileceklerdir. Başvuru yapılması halinde, programa başvuran diğer adaylardan ayrı olarak baraj puanı belirlenecektir. Başvuru sistemi 03 Haziran 2024 – 12 Temmuz 2024 (17.30) tarihleri arasında başvuruya açık olacaktır.

Ön İnceleme
Ön inceleme aşamasında başvuru belgeleri kontrol edilmektedir. Başvuru süresi içinde yapılmayan, başvuru koşullarından herhangi birini sağlamayan, belgeleri eksik olan veya istenilen formatta olmayan, başvuru son günü mesai bitiminden sonra gelen faks/elektronik posta ile yapılan başvurular bilimsel değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmadan iade edilir. Bilimsel Değerlendirme
Bilimsel değerlendirme aşaması ön inceleme süreci neticesinde evraklarının eksiksiz olduğu tespit edilen adaylar, Prof. Dr. Aziz SANCAR’ın koordinasyonunda belirlenen bir değerlendirme kurulunca TÜBİTAK Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı koordinesinde yapılacaktır. Nihai değerlendirmede destek almaya hak kazanacak adaylar Prof. Dr. Aziz SANCAR tarafından belirlenecektir.

At the project application date, there must be at least one person with a bachelor’s degree related to the project subject in the project team.
Institutions/organizations based in Turkey that apply to the Eureka international program and whose international preliminary review is found positive can apply to the Eureka Network Project 2024 Applied Quantum Technologies National Call (1719- EUREKA QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES). Applications made in this context are evaluated by expert referees during company visits and then reported to TÜBİTAK.
TUBITAK 2501 program is always open for the application of Turkish Research Groups but there are application.
On the other hand, US Research Group needs to find a suitable funding program among any of NSF grants open for application. Consequently, the NSF grant program and its deadline vary depending on the thematic field and the NSF division conducting the program.
The results of the 1832 Green Transformation in Industry 2024-1 Call, which was opened within the scope of the World Bank Türkiye Green Industry Project and aims to support the green transformation of our country's industry, have been announced.

The technology is related to the calibration of the output powers of probes belonging to the ultrasonographic diagnostic (imaging) and treatment devices. With the help of the invention, the output powers of probes that is related to ultrasound diagnostic (imaging) and treatment devices can be determined.
The ultrasonic power meter device that makes ultrasonic power measurement from one place to another easily as a portable way, facilitates effective decision-making on the working performance of ultrasonic probes in order to determine whether the ultrasonic probes have the 5 output power specified in the manufacturer's catalogs for the purpose of determining in a practical, easy and fast manner whether they work effectively.
