The EU-LAC Interest Group is a group composed of funding organisations from EU Member States, Associated Countries, and countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region that aim to cooperate in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
Within the scope of EU-LAC Interest Group, calls are issued in thematic areas determined by the priorities of the participating countries. The objective of these joint calls is to initiate sustainable and multilateral research collaboration among researchers from Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and to establish long-term cooperation between EU Member States, Associated Countries, and countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region by launching transnational calls in the field of research and innovation.
