IraSME is a network of R&D funding programmes from different countries / regions that share the same goal: Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their innovation efforts. IRASME’s secretariat is run by the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations – AIF. Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czechia, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Türkiye are the partner of IRASME Network. 

  • The aim of the network is to help SMEs gain technological know-how through international innovation projects, establish necessary cooperation networks and improve their global competitiveness.
  • The participation of RTOs in cooperation with SME is strongly recommended and preferred.
  • Projects involving at least 2 participating countries can be supported. 
  • At least 50% of the project budget must belong to the private sector.

IRASME 35. Çağrısı

IRASME 35th Call

The 35th Call of the IRASME aims to support joint R&D and innovation projects developed by small and medium-sized enterprises with IRASME participating countries.

The call, which will remain open until 26 March 2025, enables bilateral and multilateral cooperation with participating countries. Participating countries for Call 35th are Austria, Brazil, Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), Czechia, Germany, Luxemburg and Türkiye. 

While industry-academia cooperation is strongly recommended for projects to be carried out in our country, SME-SME cooperation projects with at least 2 partner countries can be supported.

At least 1 SME from each country must be included in the Project proposals and at least 50% of the total project budget must be allocated to private sector partners.

Maximum Project duration can be 36 months. 

Project budget cannot exceed €325,000 (Project Incentive Payment and Overhead are paid in addition for RTOs.)

The project budget,

Per Principle Institution;

  • For higher education institutions, training and research hospitals and public institutions and organizations, it cannot exceed €100,000. 
  • For private institutions, it cannot exceed €325,000.

The contribution requested from TÜBİTAK is obtained by multiplying the project budget by the support rate. In projects with more than one Principle Institution, the contribution requested from TÜBİTAK İs the sum of the amounts obtained by multiplying the project budget of each Principle Institution by the support rate.

A national application must be submitted along with the international application. TÜBİTAK’s national application portal is http://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/.

Applications must be prepared in accordance with national rules. The rules and the list of documents required for national applications are listed in the National Rules Document.
