Held in Hanoi, Vietnam, the 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysicsbrought together 320 students from 64 countries. Representing our country, our students won two silver medals and two bronze medals and 1 honorable mention.
The young scientists, who were trained to represent our country on the international stage within the scope of the 2202 Science Olympiads Program, carried out by the TÜBİTAK, earned the following awards: Abdülkadir Yetkin and Hüseyin Furkan Bakan won silver medals, Berra Değirmenbaşı and Betül Aydın won bronze medals, and Arda Buğra Yüce received an Honorable Mention.
We congratulate our students, the scientists of the future, who represented our country at the 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. We thank all our students who took part in the Olympiads, their families, their teachers, and all the academics who contributed to the training, especially our Committee Chairs.
