Research Environment Links grants provide financial support for capacity-strengthening and collaboration activities that researchers at universities and research institutions in Turkey with their partners in the UK. The REL Programme offers international opportunities to build relationships, to share ideas and good practice, to promote an academic and research environment between Turkey and the UK.
Size of grant: Up to £50.000 per project
Total budget of the call: £100.000
Duration of the grant: Up to 12 months

• Health Sciences (Medicine, Vaccine, Clinical Research, Epidemiology)
• Information and Communications Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and
Mechatronic Systems, Autonomous Systems, Photonics, Quantum Technologies)
• Environmental Sciences (Climate Change, Earth Observation)
• Social Sciences (Archaeology, History, Psychology, Sociology, Business
Administration)
• Basic Sciences (Physics - prioritising Astronomy, Astrophysics and Quantum
Research)

Applications must be submitted by UK lead applicants in partnership with the Turkish applicants directly from the British Council website. The applications will not be submitted through TUBITAK application system.
