• Ortak araştırma projesi önermek isteyen Türk bilim insanlarının, projeyi birlikte gerçekleştirecekleri bir ABD araştırma kuruluşunda çalışan araştırmacı(lar) ile "proje ortağı" olarak anlaşmaları gerekmektedir.
   
• Türkiye'deki proje ortaklarının proje başvurularını elektronik başvuru sistemi üzerinden incelenmek üzere TÜBİTAK'a, ABD’li proje ortaklarının ise NSF’den temin edecekleri proje öneri formunu doldurarak NSF’ye teslim etmeleri gerekmektedir. Tek taraflı başvurular kabul edilmemektedir.
   
• Projeler bilim insanı ve bilgi değişimi yoluyla uygulanmaktadır. Bu nedenle, proje kapsamında karşılıklı talep edilen araştırmacı değişimi süre ve sayısının ayrıntılı ve gerekçeli olarak belirtilmesi gerekmektedir.
   
• Projeler kapsamında yapılacak bilim insanı değişimlerinde, “Gönderen Taraf”, uluslararası seyahat, konaklama ve yeme-içme masraflarını üstlenmektedir. Buna göre, Türkiye'den giden bilim insanlarının konaklama masrafları ve ayrıca yeme içme masraflarını karşılamak üzere verilecek olan günelikler 6245 sayılı Harcırah Kanununu ve Yurtdışı Gündeliklerine Dair Karar kapsamında hesaplanmaktadır. 
• Proje bütçesi;
  • Araştırma bütçesinin yanı sıra uluslararası seyahat masraflarını da kapsamaktadır:
    • Uluslararası Araştırma projeleri destek üst limiti (Proje bütçesine bursiyer ücretleri dahil, Proje Teşvik İkramiyesi (PTİ) ve Kurum hissesi hariçtir) 3.000.000 TL’dir.
    • Makine-teçhizat taleplerinin toplam bütçe ile dengeli olması gözetilir.
    • Altyapı oluşturmaya yönelik olan projeler desteklenmez.
    • Proje kapsamında PTİ ve Kurum Hissesi ödenmektedir. 
• Projede görev alma limitleri: Uluslararası projelerde görev alabilmeye ilişkin herhangi bir sınırlama bulunmamaktadır. Araştırmacılar istedikleri kadar uluslararası işbirliği projesinde yürütücü ve araştırmacı olarak görev alabilirler. Uluslararası işbirliği programları, TÜBİTAK Ulusal proje kotalarına dahil değildir. 
   
• Proje süresi: Proje süresi en fazla 36 aydır.

ABD’deki proje ortakları NSF'ten halihazırda devam eden proje destekleri olan veya NSF'in herhangi bir araştırma destek proıgramına yeni başvuracak araştırmacılar olabilirler. 

Türk tarafı için program sürekli olarak başvuruya açıkken ABD tarafı için başvurulacak programa göre son başvuru tarihleri değişiklik göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte proje süreleri ve bütçeleri de ABD tarafı için başvurulacak programa göre değişiklik göstermektedir. Türk tarafı için sürekli açık olan 2501 NSF ile İkili İşbirliği Programı bütçe üst limiti 3.000.000 TL, süre üst limiti ise 36 aydır.

Proje hazırlama Kılavuzu:

Turkish researchers willing to apply to 2501 Joint Support Call with NSF should find a project partner eligible to be funded from any of the funding programmes of NSF.

Project partners in Türkiye should submit their project applications to TÜBİTAK via the electronic application system, while US project partners need to apply to NSF in accordance with the rules of the specific call they are planning to apply. (US Partners can apply to any of the R&D funding programmes supported by NSF) Unilateral applications will not be accepted.

TÜBİTAK and NSF review the project proposals according to their own internal procedures. The evaluation is carried out on the basis of scientific qualification. Both institutions inform each other of their decisions on the project proposals that are reviewed, and projects deemed appropriate by both parties are supported.

Projects are supported through the exchange of scientists and information. Therefore, the duration and number of mutually requested researcher exchanges within the scope of the project must be specified in detail and with justification.

In the exchange of scientists to be carried out within the scope of the projects, the "Sending Party" covers the international travel, accommodation and food and beverage expenses. Accordingly, the daily allowances to be given to cover the accommodation expenses and also the food and beverage expenses of scientists going from Türkiye are calculated within the scope of the Daily Allowance Law No. 6245 and the Decision on Daily Allowances Abroad.

The project budget;

In addition to the research budget, it also covers international travel expenses:

The upper limit of support for international research projects (including scholarship fees in the project budget, excluding Project Incentive Bonus (PTI) and Institutional Share) is 3,000,000 TL.

It is observed that the machinery and equipment demands are balanced with the total budget.

Projects aimed at creating infrastructure are not supported.

PTI and Institutional Share are paid within the scope of the project.

Project duration: The maximum project duration is 36 months for the Turkish side.

Within the framework of the Turkey Green Industry Project carried out by TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of the World Bank, the technical assistance that SMEs will receive to meet the requirements within the scope of compliance with the Green Transformation requirements is supported by the 1831 Green Innovation Technology Mentorship Call.

90% of the services that companies will receive from expert organizations on issues such as technology consultancy, capacity or situation analysis, detection of current problems and solution approaches and road map preparation for current green technologies will be covered by TÜBİTAK as grant support.

Dünya Bankası desteğiyle Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’nın koordinasyonunda TÜBİTAK ve KOSGEB tarafından yürütülen Türkiye Yeşil Sanayi Projesi çerçevesinde KOBİ’lerin Yeşil Dönüşüm mevzuatlarına uyum kapsamında gereklilikleri karşılamak üzere alacağı teknik yardım 1831 Yeşil İnovasyon Teknoloji Mentörlük Çağrısı ile desteklenmektedir.

Yeşil teknolojiler konusunda güncel teknolojiler için firmaların teknoloji danışmanlığı, kapasite ya da durum analizi, mevcut problemlerin tespiti ve çözüm yaklaşımları ve yol haritası hazırlama gibi konularda uzman kuruluşlardan alacakları hizmetin %90’ı hibe destek olarak TÜBİTAK tarafından karşılanacaktır. 

Yeşil İnovasyon Teknoloji Mentörlük Çağrısı kapsamında hizmet vermek isteyen çözüm ortağı kuruluşlar için 1831 Yeşil İnovasyon Teknoloji Mentörlük Çağrısı Çözüm Ortağı Niyet Beyanı 2024-02 Duyurusu açılmıştır. In the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1071 Programme, in line with the cooperation between TÜBİTAK and the The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan – MHESI Uzbekistan), joint research and development (R&D) projects to be conducted between Turkish and Uzbek scientists will be supported.

TÜBİTAK 1071 Programı kapsamında, TÜBİTAK ile Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti Yükseköğretim, Bilim ve Yenilikler Bakanlığı (The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan – MHESI Uzbekistan) arasındaki işbirliği doğrultusunda, Türk ve Özbek bilim insanları arasında gerçekleştirilecek olan ortak araştırma ve geliştirme (Ar-Ge) projeleri desteklenecektir. 

Çağrı kapsamında yer alan tematik alanlar aşağıda sunulmaktadır: 

• Enerji (Yenilenebilir Enerji, Sanayi ve Üretimde Enerji Verimliliğine Yönelik Teknolojiler);

• Tarım ve Gıda (Yeşil ve Sürdürülebilir);

• İleri Malzemeler (Metal ve Alaşımlar);

• Çevre (İklim Değişikliği, Çevre ve Biyoçeşitlilik, Arıtma Teknolojileri);

• Sosyal Bilimler (Temiz ve Döngüsel Ekonomi).

TÜBİTAK'a yapılacak proje başvurularının elektronik başvuru sistemi üzerinden gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir.
