ORTAK PROJE ÖNERME VE DESTEKLEME KOŞULLARI

• Ortak araştırma projesi önermek isteyen Türk bilim insanlarının, projeyi birlikte gerçekleştirecekleri bir Almanya araştırma kuruluşunda çalışan araştırmacı(lar) ile "proje ortağı" olarak anlaşmaları gerekmektedir.
   
• Türkiye'deki proje ortaklarının proje başvurularını elektronik başvuru sistemi üzerinden incelenmek üzere TÜBİTAK'a, Alman proje ortaklarının ise BMBF-IB’den temin edecekleri proje öneri formunu doldurarak anılan Bakanlığa teslim etmeleri gerekmektedir. Tek taraflı başvurular kabul edilmemektedir.
   
• TÜBİTAK ve BMBF-IB kendilerine iletilen proje önerilerini kendi iç prosedürlerine göre incelemekte ve değerlendirmektedir. Değerlendirme bilimsel yeterlilik esasına göre yapılmaktadır. Her iki kuruluş incelenen proje önerileri hakkındaki kararlarını birbirlerine bildirmekte, iki tarafça da uygun bulunan projeler desteklenmektedir.
   
• Projeler bilim insanı ve bilgi değişimi yoluyla uygulanmaktadır. Bu nedenle, proje kapsamında karşılıklı talep edilen araştırmacı değişimi süre ve sayısının ayrıntılı ve gerekçeli olarak belirtilmesi gerekmektedir.
   
• Bu doğrultuda yapılacak seyahatlerde 6245 Sayılı Harcırah Kanunu ve Yurtdışı Gündeliklerine Dair Karar'a göre ödeme yapılmakta olup ilk 10 gün için %50 artırılmış seyahat desteği verilmektedir. 
• Proje bütçesi;Uluslararası Araştırma projeleri destek üst limiti (Burs dahil, Proje Teşvik İkramiyesi (PTİ) ve Kurum hissesi hariç) 1.000.000 TL’dir. Makine-teçhizat taleplerinin toplam bütçe ile dengeli olması gözetilir. Altyapı oluşturmaya yönelik olan projeler desteklenmez.
• Projede görev alma limitleri: Uluslararası projelerde görev alabilmeye ilişkin herhangi bir sınırlama bulunmamaktadır.
   
• Proje süresi: Proje süresi en fazla 36 aydır.

Joint research projects will be supported within the scope of Cooperation Agreement between the The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a Co-funded Partnership project supported within the Horizon Europe Program. The objective is to implement Research and Development (R&D) and innovation projects that contribute to the clean energy transition process across Europe. In this context, supported projects will be financed by national funding agencies after being evaluated by an international expert panel.

For project proposals to be prepared within the scope of the call modules, it is mandatory to comply with both the international eligibility criteria and the national rules and conditions of the partner countries. Within the scope of the call, the international consortium submitting the project must consist of partners from at least three different countries (at least two of which must be EU member states or Horizon Europe Associated Countries) that declare their participation in the CETPartnership call modules to be applied for. Each partner will be supported by the funding agency of their respective country

• Advanced renewable energy (RE) technologies for power production (ROA &IOA)

As announced at the Türkiye-EU Science, Research, Technology, and Innovation High-Level Dialogue, which was held in Istanbul on April 25, 2024, with the participation of our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR, and European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, and Youth, Ms. Iliana IVANOVA, companies supported by national support programmes approved within the “Plug-in Scheme” will be granted the right to directly submit a Full Application for the EIC Accelerator Programme without a Short Application, within a certain quota.

As is known, the EIC Accelerator programme within the European Innovation Council (EIC) is open to SMEs and Start-ups with scalable potential and aims to introduce innovative ideas that could create a new market or disrupt existing ones. The EIC Accelerator evaluation process, managed by the European Commission, begins with a Short Application, followed by Full Application and Interview stages, to be completed in three steps.

A detailed evaluation and certification process was carried out by the Commission to identify programmes eligible for the Plug-in Scheme, resulting in the official approval of the following programmes conducted by TÜBİTAK TEYDEB:

• 1501 Industrial R&D Support Programme

• 1507 SME R&D Start-up Support Programme

• 1707 SME Support Call for Order-Based R&D Projects

Thus, SMEs and Start-ups supported by any of these programmes will be eligible, if deemed suitable following the application and subsequent evaluation processes to TÜBİTAK, to submit a Full Application for the EIC Accelerator Programme without a Short Application within a certain quota to continue their respective projects.

Application Conditions for the 2024 EIC Accelerator Plug-In Scheme - 2nd Call

• Meeting the EIC Accelerator Programme's application requirements: The SME status under the European Commission must be confirmed, and project proposals should be at least TRL 6.

• Having benefited from TÜBİTAK TEYDEB support programmes: Support must have been obtained from one of the 1501, 1507, or 1707 programmes, with project dates matching those specified in the Call Text.

TÜBİTAK President, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, participated in high-level meetings held as part of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum, which took place in Kyoto, Japan, between 4 and 7 October 2025.

Bringing together leaders shaping the future of science and technology, this year's Forum focused on the social impacts of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and strengthening science diplomacy.

Global Summit of Research Institute Leaders

Our TÜBİTAK President, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, attended the Global Summit of Research Institute Leaders (RIL) meeting held on the first day of the forum. Held this year under the theme ‘Working Together to Strengthen Trust in Science,’ the summit brought together representatives from research institutions in 27 countries to exchange views on research safety, research ethics, reproducibility, and the development of open science.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın emphasised that trust in science is as important today as science itself. Prof. Dr. Aydın said in his speech:

"Science is a universal value that brings people together beyond countries, languages and cultures. However, the permanence of this value depends on science being conducted openly, reliably and in interaction with society.

As TÜBİTAK, we are working to strengthen trust in science within the research ecosystem. Scientific integrity, ethical principles and data sharing form the basis of our institutional culture. The open science infrastructures we have developed enable research data and results to be shared in an accessible, verifiable and transparent manner.

We operate in rapidly developing fields such as artificial intelligence with transparency, adherence to ethical values and principles of social benefit.

President Aydın also made the following assessment:

"Strengthening trust in science requires listening to society and aligning our scientific priorities with the real needs and values of society. From public health to clean energy, from social resilience to everyday life expectations, the closer science is to people, the stronger the trust it gains."

Prof. Dr. Aydın concluded his speech with the following words:

‘Strengthening trust in science requires continuity. We are committed to making science reliable, high-quality and beneficial for everyone through openness, honesty and a participatory approach. We aim to further strengthen this effort through national and international collaborations.’

The participants agreed on the preservation of scientific integrity, increasing transparency and explainability in artificial intelligence, overcoming the boundaries between fundamental and applied research, and strengthening science's communication with society. They committed to continuing their collaboration to make research more open, secure, and reliable.

Science, Technology and Innovation for Future Society Session

Prof. Dr. Aydın also participated in the high-level session titled ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for Future Society’ organised within the scope of the STS Forum.

The session, which brought together representatives from different countries in the fields of science, technology and innovation, addressed science and technology policies that will shape future societies, the role of innovation in sustainable development, and the social impacts of transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence. 

The session stood out as an important international gathering where science and innovation policies were discussed on a global scale and priorities for the future were addressed.

Funding Agency Presidents’ Meeting

The Funding Agency Presidents’ Meeting (FAPM), held on the third day of the Forum, was attended by representatives of research funding organisations from 62 countries. This year’s meeting was organised under the theme of “Joint Development of Artificial Intelligence-Literate Human Resources”.

In his assessment at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that artificial intelligence has become not only a field of research but also an important force transforming many sectors, from industry to public services.

Emphasising that funding institutions need to develop strategic approaches to this transformation, Aydın stated that efforts to develop human resources should address learning, research and industrial applications together.

The President of TÜBİTAK also shared Turkey's practices in this field, citing examples such as the industry doctoral programme, researcher exchange programmes, capacity development activities aimed at enhancing researcher competencies, and the high-performance computing infrastructure TRUBA, which strengthen industry-academia interaction.

Emphasising that ethical, legal, and social dimensions must also be considered for responsible and reliable artificial intelligence, he provided information about the TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Institute's work in this direction.

The session addressed topics such as designing joint programmes with industry to develop artificial intelligence literacy, research-industry mobility, responsible data use, and compliance with international standards. Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that the session provided a productive discussion environment that shed light on the future of artificial intelligence and human resource policies.

Bilateral Contacts and Meetings

Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın met with research institutions, funding agencies, public and industry representatives from different countries during the STS Forum. These meetings included assessments of mutual cooperation opportunities, the development of joint ventures, and the enhancement of scientific interaction.

These contacts made a significant contribution to strengthening TÜBİTAK's science and technology diplomacy activities at the international level and evaluating new opportunities for cooperation.

About the STS Forum

Held annually in Kyoto, Japan, the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum) is a prestigious international platform that brings together high-level representatives from the fields of science, technology, business, politics and civil society. The Forum aims to highlight the role of science and technology in seeking solutions to the global challenges facing humanity, while building bridges between countries and developing a shared vision. Each year, the discussion agenda covers a range of topics, from climate change to artificial intelligence, research security to innovation ecosystems; the declarations published at the end of the meetings guide global science diplomacy.

The declaration issued at the end of the 2025 meeting highlighted the social impacts of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the preservation of scientific integrity, emphasising the need to strike a balance between fundamental scientific research and goal-oriented innovation aimed at solving social problems, and to strengthen trust in science.

Participants committed to continuing their collaboration to make research more open, secure, and reliable.

EU-LAC Interest Group Joint Calls are supported by the national funding organisations of the participating countries, and these organizations provide funding exclusively to partners from their respective countries.

Application Conditions

• The project must be conducted under the supervision of an academic advisor and an industry advisor. A project may include at most one academic advisor and one industry advisor.

• The applicant must not be the project leader or partner in more than one application in the same period, nor in a previously funded 2209-A or 2209-B project whose support period is still active.

• No prior support must have been received from TÜBİTAK for the same project.

• Students may apply individually or as a team. In all applications, the project leader and the academic advisor are jointly responsible to TÜBİTAK. A project may include at most four project partners.

• The academic advisor and the industry advisor cannot be the same person.

• The project title must reflect the purpose and content of the research clearly and comprehensibly using scientific expressions.

• In all documents submitted during application—including title and proposal—no institution, organization, company, commercial product or brand shall be promoted. No discriminatory, exclusionary, or offensive expressions based on language, religion, race, sect, nationality, color, gender, political view, philosophical belief, national or social origin, birth, or economic status shall be used.

  * Open Education and Preparatory Class students cannot be project leaders or project partners.
  ** The academic advisor must have an up-to-date YÖK registration.

• The applicant must not be involved in multiple applications within the same term, nor in any 2209-A or 2209-B project that is ongoing from previous terms.

• Students may apply to the programme either individually or as a team. For team applications, one student shall serve as the project manager and act as the primary point of responsibility to TÜBİTAK. Each project team may consist of the project coordinator and up to 4 additional team members.

• An academic advisor may participate in a maximum of five projects within the same term.

• The project title must be defined using clear and comprehensible scientific terminology, reflecting the purpose and scope of the research.

• In all documents submitted as part of the application, including the project title and project proposal, no institution, organization, company, commercial product, or brand should be highlighted. 1832-Industrial Green Transformation 2024-2 call, part of the Türkiye Green Industry Project supported by the World Bank and coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, is now open for applications. 1832 - Industrial Green Transformation Call (Application Dates: 01.08.2024-03.10.2024)

TÜRKSAT 6A, Turkey's first indigenous and national communication satellite, has successfully settled into its mission orbit at 42° East longitude.

Launched on 9 July 2024, TÜRKSAT 6A completed the critical steps in the process leading to this success on schedule. After being launched into space, TÜRKSAT 6A first settled into the test orbit at 50° East longitude. After the tests carried out here were completed as planned, the transition process to the final mission orbit of 42° East longitude began on 16 December 2024. After five orbital manoeuvres, the satellite was successfully placed into its mission orbit on 28 December 2024.

While the tests in the mission orbit will continue at 42° East longitude, physical installations and virtual stations will be completed within the scope of ground segment activities, while the acceptance process of ground station software and end-user training will continue. Following the completion of these processes, the satellite will be transferred to TÜRKSAT A.Ş.

TÜRKSAT 6A was implemented under the coordination of TÜBİTAK UZAY in cooperation with local business partners such as TAI, ASELSAN and CTECH. The project was funded by TÜBİTAK, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Presidency of Defence Industries and TÜRKSAT A.Ş. The indigenous equipment used in the development process of the satellite made significant contributions to the technical capacity of our country. With the contribution of more than 20 national companies and nearly 400 experts, critical subsystems were developed domestically.

This project, which took our country a step forward in space studies, reinforced Turkey's independence in the field of space by making it one of the 11 countries capable of developing communication satellites.

TÜRKSAT 6A will not only increase and back up Turkey's communication capacity for more than 15 years, but will also provide access to a wide region covering Europe, North Africa and Asia.

The results of the MSCA-COFUND-2023 call, under the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, have been announced. According to the results, TÜBİTAK’s application titled Co-Funded Brain Circulation 3 (CoCirculation3) for the “Postdoctoral Fellowships” panel has been selected as the highest-budgeted project by the European Commission under this call.

In this highly competitive call, the European Commission decided to fund a total of 27 projects, including 12 Doctoral and 15 Postdoctoral Fellowships. Besides Türkiye, projects from Spain, France, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Czechia, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, and Sweden were also supported. TÜBİTAK secured a budget of €9.5 million from the European Commission under this call. With this budget, TÜBİTAK aims to attract and fund 100 postdoctoral researchers from abroad.

CoCirculation3 project intends to offer researchers higher salaries and higher research support than those provided in previous CoCirculation and CoCirculation2 projects. This journey, which began in 2011 with the CoCirculation initiative in collaboration with the European Commission, continued in 2017 with CoCirculation2 and now progresses with CoCirculation3 (2023).

We are pleased to announce that, like the previous CoCirculation and CoCirculation2 projects written and submitted by the EU Framework Programs National Coordination Office, CoCirculation3 will also be implemented as part of TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2236 Program.

Objectives of the Project

According to the Grant Agreement signed between the European Commission and TÜBİTAK, the CoCirculation3 Project will start on 1 June 2025. The project will launch 3 calls to attract 100 highly qualified postdoctoral researchers from abroad to Türkiye.

There will be no restrictions on research fields, allowing researchers from all disciplines to apply. However, proposals must align with the themes of the ‘Green Deal’.

Under CoCirculation3, researchers with doctoral degrees are expected to conduct their research projects at an academic or non-academic (industry etc.) institution in Türkiye for 24 months under the guidance of a supervisor. Applicants, regardless of nationality, must prove that they have not resided in Türkiye for more than 12 months within the last three years as of the relevant call deadline.

Call Schedule

The opening and closing dates of the calls have been determined and can now be shared with the eligible postdoctoral researchers from abroad:

Call 1: Opens on 1 September 2025, and closes in December 2025 (33 researchers to be funded).

Call 2: Opens on 3 August 2026, and closes in November 2026 (33 researchers to be funded).

Call 3: Opens on 1 July 2027, and closes in October 2027 (34 researchers to be funded).

Academic and non-academic institutions in Türkiye will have the opportunity to host one or more researchers, providing them with a research environment. During the three call periods under the TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2236 Program, 33 researchers will be supported in the first year (2025), another 33 researchers in the second year (2026), and another 34 researchers in the third year (2027). Researchers are expected to find a suitable host institution and submit their applications in line with the proposal format shared by TÜBİTAK when the calls are announced.

Host institutions may also start searching for suitable researchers, for example, by posting vacancies on international networking platforms like EURAXESS.

Unique Features of the Project

The distinguished features of the CoCirculation3 project compared to its predecessors, CoCirculation and CoCirculation2, are as follows:

• All funded researchers will be supported for 24 months.

• CoCirc3 is open to applications from all scientific areas (adding a 'Green Deal' aspect to the projects will be expected). 

• Researchers can apply under either the “Standard” or the “Society & Enterprise” panel, with the latter offering a dedicated evaluation process for those proposing to work in non-academic organizations (like in industry sector). 

• Enhanced participation of non-academic sector is foreseen with the brand new allowance defined as ‘Entrepreneurship Allowance’ to enhance the entrepreneurial initiatives of the PostDoc Fellows and creating an eco-system for Industry-Academia Partnerships.

• Outstanding approach is foreseen by enhancing the career development of PostDoc fellows through CoCirc3 Mentor-Mentee Mechanism and creating a community in Turkish Research Area through Alumni Network. 

• Short-term secondments at different institutions, including those providing letters of support, will be encouraged to enhance academia-industry collaboration.

• Researchers will be able to extend their stay in non-academic institutions (Non-Academic Placements) for up to one year after completing their 24-month projects, with additional funding provided by TÜBİTAK BİDEB.

The supported candidate (project partners, if any) and their academic advisor must comply with the universal scientific research and scientific publication rules during the execution of the research. In case of violation of the above-mentioned rules, action is taken against those concerned in accordance with the provisions of the AYEK (Ethics committee) regulation.

Project coordinators must upload the final report to the system within 13 months at most after the announcement of the evaluation results on the TÜBİTAK website, and in any case before completing their undergraduate education.

The Working Party of National Experts on Science and Technology Indicators (NESTI) of OECD CSTP has been working on the concepts of science and technology indicators for over forty years and prepared a series of methodological manuals called “The Frascati Family”. Frascati, Oslo and Canberra Manuals include internationally accepted science, technology and innovation system concepts. The Turkish translation of the Oslo and Frascati Manuals are available and its free distribution by TÜBİTAK is an important step to establish the unity in jargon. The Manuals also composed a reference point in funding programs and policy-development, thus complementing a strategic approach to STI.

Proje önerileri alındıktan sonraki süreçte, proje önerileri bilimsel değerlendirmeye alınmadan önce ön incelemeden geçirilmekte, belirtilen kriterlere ve formata uygun olan projeler panel sürecinde değerlendirilmek üzere TÜBİTAK Araştırma Destek Programları Başkanlığı -  Uluslararası İşbirliği Projeleri Araştırma Destek Grubu'na iletilmektedir.

İkili işbirlikleri kapsamında önerilerin projelerin sonuçlarına dair bildirimler her iki kuruluşun sonuçlar üzerinde mutabık kalmasının ardından açıklanabilmektedir. Değerlendirme süreci devam ederken herhangi bir açıklama yapılması mümkün değildir.

In Phase 2, the project budget determined during the panel evaluation of the business plan that qualifies for the Seal of Excellence will be transferred to the company as an investment by the pre-seed investment fund in which TÜBİTAK is an investor. The equity share ratio and the investment amount will be specified in the relevant calls.

Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu (TÜBİTAK) ile Pakistan Bilim Vakfı (Pakistan Science Foundation, PSF) İkili İşbirliği Destek Programı arasındaki Bilimsel ve Teknolojik İş Birliği Protokolü çerçevesinde açılan ikili iş birliği çağrısı kapsamında aşağıdaki projelerin desteklenmesine karar verilmiştir.

• Yarışmaya, Türkiye ve KKTC’de örgün ve açık öğretim sisteminde öğrenim gören tüm lise öğrencileri katılabilir.

• Yarışmaya her öğrenci yalnızca bir proje ile katılabilir ve her proje en çok üç öğrenci tarafından hazırlanır.

• Bir projede sadece bir danışman görev alabilir ve danışman birden fazla projeye danışmanlık yapabilir. Danışman için alan sınırlaması yoktur. Projede danışman olması zorunlu değildir.

• Yarışmaya başvurusu yapılacak bir projede yer alacak öğrenciler ile danışman arasında birinci derece yakınlık (anne/baba) ve çıkar ilişkisi/çatışması olarak kabul edilen bir ilişkinin olmaması gerekir.

• Yarışmaya başvurusu yapılacak bir projedeki öğrenciler ve danışman farklı okullardan olabilir.

• Yarışmaya  başvuracak öğrenciler, yarışma başvuru tarihinin son günü itibarıyla 20 yaşından gün almamış olmalıdır.

• Projelerin, öğrencilerin özgün düşüncelerinden kaynaklanması, kendileri tarafından şekillendirilmiş, danışarak ama kendi bilgi ve becerileri ile Proje Rehberinde belirtilen formatta ve sonlandırılmış olarak yarışmaya başvurusunun yapılması gerekir. Fikir aşamasında veya devam etmekte olan projelerle yarışmaya başvuru yapılmaz. Bu durumda olduğu tespit edilen projeler yarışmadan elenir.

• Yarışmaya daha önceki yıllarda başvurusu yapılmış projelerle başvuru yapılamaz. Bu kurala uymadığı tespit edilen projeler, hangi aşamada olursa olsun yarışmadan elenir.

   

• Yarışmaya başvurusu yapılan bir projenin, yarışmanın son başvuru tarihinden önce aynı ya da benzer içerik/konu ve/veya aynı ya da farklı isimlerle herhangi bir proje yarışmasına başvurusunun yapıldığının tespit edilmesi durumunda proje hangi aşamada olursa olsun yarışmadan elenir.

• Başvuru sistemine eksik, hatalı veya yanlış bilgi ve belge yüklenmesi, hazırlanan projenin halk sağlığı ve güvenliği için risk teşkil etmesi, omurgalılar üzerinde kesi yapılması, kan veya doku alınması, ağız ya da enjeksiyon yoluyla etkisi kesin olarak bilinmeyen tehlikeli ve yabancı madde verilmesi, sağlığı tehdit eden deneyler yapılması durumlarında proje hangi aşamada olursa olsun yarışmadan elenir.

   

• Proje adı ve proje raporu dahil olmak üzere başvuru kapsamında sunulan tüm belgelerde herhangi bir kurum, kuruluş, firma, ticari ürün ya da marka öne çıkarılmamalıdır. Ayrıca; dil, din, ırk, mezhep, milliyet, renk, cinsiyet, siyasi görüş, felsefi inanç, ulusal ya da sosyal köken, doğum, ekonomik durum gibi sebeplerle ayrımcılık yapan, dışlayıcı veya rencide edici hiçbir ifade kullanılmamalıdır. Bu durumların tespit edilmesi halinde proje hangi aşamada olursa olsun yarışmadan elenir.

• Hedef kitlesi, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı kurumların paydaşlarından (öğrenci, veli, öğretmen, yönetici, personel vb.) oluşan araştırma projeleri için T.C. Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı Araştırma Uygulama İzinleri Yönergesi kapsamında https://arastirmaizinleri.meb.gov.tr/ adresinde bulunan Araştırma Uygulama İzinleri Başvuru ve Değerlendirme Sistemi’ne yapılan başvuru sonucunda alınan Araştırma Uygulama İzin Belgesi ile projede kullanılan veri toplama araçları (test, anket, görüşme formu, vb.) TÜBİTAK Yönetim Bilgi Sistemine PDF formatında yüklenmelidir. 

• Projede kullanılan veri toplama aracı ve içeriği ile ilgili izin belgesi alınsa dahi, veri toplama aracının uygulanması konusunda katılımcıların gönüllülük esası dikkate alınmalıdır. Veri toplama aracının uygulanacağı kişilerden çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katıldıklarına dair yazılı izin/onam alınmalıdır. Hedef kitlesi 18 yaş altındaki öğrencilerden oluşan araştırma projelerinde veli izin/onam belgesi mutlaka alınmalıdır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı olmayan kurum/kuruluş vb. yerlerde yapılan araştırma projeleri için ise ilgili kurum/kuruluştan izin belgesi ile katılımcılardan katılımcı onam formu alınmalı ve izin/onam belgelerinin bir örneği sisteme yüklenmeli ve tüm izin/onamların alındığı bilgisine proje raporunda yer verilmelidir. İzin/onam belgeleri gerektiğinde/talep edildiğinde ibraz edilmelidir.

• Projeler başvuru yapılan ana alanda görevlendirilecek jüri tarafından değerlendirilecektir. Başvuru aşamasında yapılan ana alan ve tematik alan seçimlerinde başvuru süreci bittikten sonra değişiklik yapılamaz. Ana alan ve tematik alan seçiminde proje içeriği dikkate alınmalıdır. Ana alan ve tematik alan seçimi, proje sahiplerinin sorumluluğundadır.  Proje ana alanı, Projedeki ana amacı gerçekleştirmek için destek alınan diğer bilimsel alanlar dikkate alınarak seçilmemeli, projenin konusu ve nihai amacına göre seçilmelidir.

• Yarışmaya, Türkiye ve KKTC’de örgün ve açık öğretim sisteminde öğrenim gören tüm ortaokul öğrencileri katılabilir.

• Yarışmaya her öğrenci yalnızca bir proje ile katılabilir ve her proje en çok üç öğrenci tarafından hazırlanır.

• Bir projede sadece bir danışman görev alabilir ve danışman birden fazla projeye danışmanlık yapabilir. Danışman için alan sınırlaması yoktur. Projede danışman olması zorunludur.
