The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) has announced the Falling Walls Lab TÜRKİYE programme.

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) has announced the Falling Walls Lab TÜRKİYE program to support your creativity, innovative ideas, and discoveries.

Falling Walls Lab is an international innovative entrepreneurship competition centered in Germany. It is open to interdisciplinary university students and early-career professionals to submit their globally and locally groundbreaking ideas to the competition.

Each applicant must prepare a 3-minute presentation to showcase their innovative idea that positively impacts science, art, and society. 

The jury will determine the winner of Falling Walls Lab Türkiye by voting on the innovative ideas participating in the competition.

The Falling Walls Lab Türkiye winner will be invited to participate in the Global Finals in Berlin on 7 November 2023 and will have the opportunity to meet with the world's leading figures in the fields of science, business, and politics. TÜBİTAK will cover the travel and accommodation costs for the winner from Türkiye to attend the Global Falling Walls Lab Finals in Berlin.

The application deadline is July 17, 2023.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:

  • Currently enrolled in university / currently a postdoc
  • Awarded a Bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago
  • Awarded a Master’s degree no more than 7 years ago
  • Awarded a PhD no more than 5 years ago

PLEASE NOTE:

Applications must be submitted in English.

Multiple applications are not allowed.

Past participants are no longer eligible to apply for the Lab.
