Prof. Dr. Yücel ALTUNBAŞAK has been appointed President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) on August 29, 2011. Prior to joining TÜBİTAK, Prof. ALTUNBAŞAK served as Rector of TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Ankara for two years.
