Ulaşım sponsoru Türk Hava Yolları olan program kapsamında, “4001-A Ulusal Yarışma/Etkinlik Katılım Desteği” çağrısı ile yurt içinde düzenlenen yarışma ve etkinliklere, “4001-B Uluslararası Yarışma/Etkinlik Katılım Desteği” çağrısı ile de yurt dışında düzenlenen yarışma ve etkinliklere katılım için destek verilecektir.

Başvurularda en az 3 KOBİ’den oluşan bir Kullanıcı Grubu tanımlanmalıdır. Kullanıcı grubunun, proje ekibinin çalışmalarını yönlendirmeye ve projenin verimliliğinin artırılmasına yönelik katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.

The first call of the Eurostars-3 for the year 2025 (cut-off 8) has been launched on 10 January 2025. Within this call, joint international R&D projects aimed at developing market-oriented innovative products, processes and services will be funded with the participation of at least one Turkish and one foreign organization from any Eurostars member country. Unilateral project applications are not accepted. An innovative SME is expected to take part in the project consortiums as the coordinator.
Eurostars-3 is a partnership created under the Horizon Europe/ European Innovation Ecosystems Program as the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs with the cooperation of the Eureka Secretariat and 37 member countries. Within the scope of the program to be carried out between 2021-2027, it is aimed to support innovative SMEs to increase their R&D, innovation capacity and productivity, and to help them reach into global value chains and new markets.
In Eurostars-3 calls, bottom-up, international R&D projects with a civilian purpose, are funded led by innovative SMEs, regardless of any technology field or sector. Stock corporations and researchers based in Türkiye can submit joint proposals to Eurostars-3 2025/1 call. If there is more than one partner from Türkiye in the same international project, the partners are required to apply with a single joint project together. Higher education institutions, public research centers and institutes, training and research hospitals, research infrastructures within the scope of Law No. 6550 can participate jointly under the leadership of stock corporations. Eligible national consortiums will be funded according to the rules of the national funding programme coded “1709-EUREKA-EUROSTARS 2025/1” and "Eurostars-3 Program National Call Announcement".
Before the national application, the call text should be carefully examined, if the application rules are not followed properly, the application may be returned without being evaluated.
National pre-registration and national pre-submission must be done to TÜBİTAK on the specified dates via TÜBİTAK PRODIS. In addition, after the international evaluation process, the accepted Turkish teams have to make a national application to TÜBİTAK.

- The upper limit of the project budget in partner projects is 850 thousand Euro (previously 750 thousand Euro)

2) Please note that Greece, Israel, one of the NFBs in Italy (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT)), South Korea, Switzerland and United Kingdom do not foresee public funding for organisations from their country applying to the 8th call of Eurostars-3. Organizations from these countries are welcome to apply but will have to fully self-finance their part of the project.

Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1071 Programme, this call has been launched under the cooperation protocol between TÜBİTAK and Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and will support joint R&D and innovation projects in which industrial organizations from both countries take part.
Under this call, universities and public institutions/organizations from Türkiye may also participate in projects as partners together with industrial organizations.

In line with the objective of developing human capital, one of the core components of the National Technology Initiative, the evaluation process for the applications submitted to the 12th term 4006-A and 4006-B calls of the 4006-TÜBİTAK Science Fairs Support Programme, which aims to encourage students to prepare scientific projects, has been completed.
A total of 166.176 project applications were submitted by 11.055 schools, within the framework of 63 thematic topics and 12 main fields determined in line with the priority areas of the science, technology and innovation ecosystem specified in the call texts.
In order to enhance project quality, all applications were subjected to similarity check. As a result, 133.550 projects from 8.683 schools were found eligible to proceed to the scientific evaluation stage. These projects were evaluated by 1.175 external consultants (academics and experts).
As a result of the evaluation process; 58,117 projects, prepared by thousands of middle and high school students from 3,715 schools across 81 provinces were entitled to receive support.
We congratulate our young scientists and wish them continued success in contributing to our country and humanity today and in the future. We also extend our sincere thanks to all teachers and students who contributed to the process.

Since 2007, TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate have been supporting projects that aim to carry out scientific activities for different segments of society, from preschool children to undergraduate students and teachers.
Within this framework, 4009-Rural Schools Support Programme has been designed to ensure a more balanced nationwide distribution of project-based activities by reducing regional and spatial disparities.
Under the programme, it is aimed to bring project-based activities related to science, technology and education together with students studying in rural schools and local residents; to increase awareness of science and technology not only in provincial and district centers but also in smaller settlements; to strengthen scientific literacy and to enable the comprehension of scientific concepts through interactive practices.
The maximum support amount is 150,000 TRY.
Applications from village schools will be accepted as “host institution applications”.
Two separate applications will be received: “implementing institution/organization applications” and “host institution applications” and matching will be carried out following the evaluation process.

The EU-LAC Interest Group is a group of funding agencies from LAC, EU Member States and Associated Countries wishing to cooperate in bi-regional science, technology and innovation.
The goal of the EU-LAC 5th Joint Call is to initiate sustainable and multilateral research cooperation between researchers from European, Latin American and Caribbean countries, i.e. to establish long-term cooperation between EU Member States, Associated Countries and LAC by offering transnational calls in the field of research and innovation. In this regard, the EU-LAC Interest Group will open its 5th Joint Call for applications on 24 February 2025.

The maximum amount of the grant support that can be allocated to a single institution by TÜBİTAK will be 20 Million TL, provided that the commitment of the institution to participate in the Fund is not less than 4 Million TL.
Scope and Rate of Support
50% of the contributions of TTOs, TDZs, and RIs for the early stage technology-based enterprises participating in the funds as investors will be supported by TÜBİTAK as grants. In addition, organizations will be provided with general expense support up to 10% of their contribution.
In addition, if requested, a pre-payment will be made to TTOs, TDZs and RIs up to 20% of the total amount committed by them in order to meet their cash requirement. As guarantee, a letter of guarantee issued by banks and financial institutions should be brought up to 25% more than the prepayment requested.
Required Conditions in Early Stage Technology Based Initiatives
SME-scale companies located in Türkiye that meet both conditions stated below are defined as early stage technology-based enterprises.
a) As of the date when the fund first invested in the venture, companies of SME scale whose maximum 10 calendar years have passed through the establishment date
b) SME scale companies that have received R&D and innovation project support from the public institutions and organizations specified in the Tech-InvesTR call as of the date of the submission of the term report and have successfully completed this project or whose project support continues
TÜBİTAK will support 50% of TTO/TDZ/RI's contributions to VC funds in the form of grants for investments to be made in these companies residing in Türkiye and having the above characteristics.

Within the scope of the bilateral cooperation call between TÜBİTAK and the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), joint academic-industry projects conducted by scientists from both countries will be supported.

Due to the high efficiency of the projects initiated with the first Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call in 2022 and the strong demand from our stakeholders, the call has been reopened on June 3rd.
The Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call aims to transform artificial intelligence technologies developed by companies based in Turkey and committed to implementing the project results in Turkey into products or solutions, in line with the needs of companies that require artificial intelligence solutions internally. This transformation leverages the knowledge accumulated in university/public research centers and institutes.
Under this program, five priority areas will be supported. These priority areas are:
Smart Manufacturing Systems,
Smart Agriculture, Food, and Livestock,
Financial Technologies,
Climate Change and Sustainability,
Smart Education Technologies.
In this support model, it is expected that customer organizations in need of AI solutions will form a consortium with at least one technology provider company, at least one university research laboratory/center or public research center/institute experienced in this field, and the TÜBİTAK Artificial Intelligence Institute. The consortium applying for the project must sign a cooperation agreement prior to the application.
Project applications will be accepted through the TEYDEB Project Evaluation and Monitoring System (PRODIS) between June 3, 2024, and July 31, 2024 (until 23:59). Pre-registration must be completed by July 29, 2024, at 17:30, and the necessary documents must be submitted to TÜBİTAK.
Organizations that have completed the pre-registration process can submit their project proposals to TÜBİTAK through PRODIS by the specified deadline.

INFORMATION ABOUT TECHNOLOGY
"Optimization of Intraocular Lens (IOL) Production Process Produced by Photopolymerization and Preparation of Oligomer Synthesis and Formulations Curable with UV-Rays" is the outcome of the patent family technology with the know-how of the technology with the number TR2014/05120. The international patent application for the same invention was published on 12.11.2015 with the number WO2015170278. The national and international patent applications will be transferred in accordance with the procedure stipulated by the TÜBİTAK TTO Regulation. It is a formulation and production method that enables the production of flexible, biocompatible intraocular lenses with a shelf life suitable for long-term storage, which is used in medicine, ophthalmology, cataract surgery to eliminate eye problems such as cataracts.

Within the scope of the 2214-A and 2219 Programmes, support is provided to scientists in line with our country’s priority needs, with the aim of increasing researchers’ scientific productivity, strengthening international collaborations, and enabling them to enhance their academic competencies by acquiring innovative methods and approaches in their respective fields.

The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) conducted by TÜBİTAK in cooperation with UNIDO, and the Inclusive Green Transition (IGT) Accelerator programme conducted in cooperation with IOM and UNIDO, also aim to support early-stage companies in scaling their technologies and field applications.
For this purpose, the "1601 - 2026-1 Global Cleantech Innovation Programme Technology Scaling and Commercialisation Support Call" has been opened under the 1601 TÜBİTAK Capacity Building for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Programme, to encourage interface organisations to provide services to start-ups that have successfully completed the GCIP and IGT accelerator programmes for preparing project proposals for the 1707 and 1832 calls.
The support duration within the scope of the call is 12 months. Payments to interface organisations are made periodically in the form of award support. The amount of the award support varies depending on the type of programme applied for by the start-up provided with technical assistance.
Interface organisations that wish to provide services within the scope of the call, which includes actively working with start-ups and co-developing project outputs, must complete their project-based pre-registrations by 4 May 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+3). Applications will be accepted via PRODİS until 8 May 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+3).

TÜBİTAK tarafından Türkiye’deki yürütücülüğü yapılan Avrupa Moleküler Biyoloji Organizasyonu (European Molecular Biology Organisation–EMBO), yaşam bilimleri alanında çalışan bilim insanlarına yönelik çeşitli burs ve destek programları yürütmektedir. Türkiye’nin de üyesi olduğu Avrupa Moleküler Biyoloji Konferansı (European Molecular Biology Conference–EMBC) üye ve iş birliği ortağı olan ülkeler tarafından finanse edilen bu programlar araştırmacılara hibe, dolaşım ve bilimsel ağ oluşturma desteği sağlamaktadır.
Genç Araştırmacı Programı (Young Investigator Programme) ile EMBC üye veya iş birliği ortağı olan ülkelerde yaşam bilimleri alanında çalışan genç grup liderlerine bağımsız laboratuvarlarını geliştirebilmeleri için 4 yıl süreyle hibe desteği ve bilimsel ağ oluşturma fırsatları sunulmaktadır.
Başvuru Koşulları:
1 Nisan 2026 tarihinde EMBC üye veya iş birliği ortağı olan ülkelerde en az 1 yıl en çok 4 yıl süreyle bağımsız grup lideri olarak çalışmış olmak (Bağımsız grup liderliği pozisyonuna 1 Ocak 2022 ve 1 Nisan 2025 tarihleri arasında başlamış olmak)*;
Araştırma alanları EMBO çalışma alanlarına uygun olmak;
Kendi araştırma grubunda yürüttüğü bağımsız çalışmalardan uluslararası hakemli bir dergide yayımlanmış son yazarlı bir araştırma makalesi bulunmak ya da makalesi yayınlanmak üzere kabul edilmiş olmak;
Başvurunun değerlendirilmesinin ardından gerçekleştirilecek olan çevrim içi mülakata katılmak gereklidir.
* En fazla 4 yıldır bağımsız grup lideri olarak çalışmış olma limiti ebeveynlik izni, hastalık, askerlik, klinik bilimci olma gibi durumlara bağlı olarak uzatılabilir. Bu durumlara sahip adayların başvuru öncesi EMBO program ofisiyle (yip@embo.org) iletişime geçmesi gerekmektedir. Programa başvurmak için yaş limiti bulunmamaktadır.

Destek Kapsamı:
Program süresi 4 yıldır.
Ödül sahiplerine programın 2. yılında 15.000 Avro destek sağlanır ve ödül sahipleri bu destek dışında her yıl en fazla 10.000 avro ek hibe desteğine başvurabilirler.
Ödül sahiplerine EMBO bilimsel ağ oluşturma etkinliklerine erişme ve konferans düzenleme desteği sağlanır.
Ödül sahiplerine bir EMBO üyesi tarafından mentörlük desteği verilir ve kendilerinin EMBO Laboratuvar Liderliği Kurslarına (Laboratory Leadership Courses) katılımı desteklenir.
Ödül sahiplerine Avrupa Moleküler Biyoloji Laboratuvarına (European Molecular Biology Laboratory–EMBL) erişim desteği sağlanır.
