The results of 1507-TÜBİTAK SME R&D Start-Up Support Programme 2025-2 Call, which aims to support project-based research, technological development and innovation activities of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs); to encourage them to carry out R&D-qualified innovation activities; to contribute to the establishment and widespread adoption of an R&D and innovation culture; to increase their competitiveness in national and international markets; and to help them gain the capability to carry out systematic R&D and innovation projects either individually or collaboratively, have been announced.
We congratulate our organizations whose projects were supported and we would like to remind the organizations whose projects were rejected that they can revise their applications and apply for the 1507 2026-1 Call.

Implemented by the TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate, the Science Talks Programme aims to bring together scientists who are experts in their fields with primary, secondary and high school students, as well as with members of society who have an interest in science. Through these talks, the programme aims to strengthen interaction between science and society, facilitate access to scientific knowledge, and enhance scientific literacy.
Since 2019, a total of 9,072 science talks have been organised, reaching approximately 1,342,000 students. As a result of the evaluations carried out during the 2025–2026 application period, 3,225 schools/institutions were matched with 1,397 speakers.
The matching was carried out by taking into account the speakers’ provincial preferences, the thematic areas selected by schools and institutions, as well as target audience preferences. Matched school/institution coordinators and speakers can view their matching details by logging into their accounts at the Project Application System.
In line with Türkiye’s vision of being among the leading countries in the world with its original scientific studies on polar sciences, the Turkish scientific expeditions to the polar regions (Arctic and Antarctica) are annually organised under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM Polar Research Institute (PRI). The expeditions aim original, sustainable, and high-quality scientific research of Turkish scientists in Polar Regions, cooperation with scientists from other countries, while becoming one of the reputable countries having a voice in Polar Regions.
In accordance with these purposes, the scientific evaluation process of the projects submitted within the scope of the 2026 calls "KUTUP-1001" and "KUTUP Foreign Research Base Participation", launched by the Research Support Programmes Directorate (ARDEB) to support scientific studies related to the Polar Regions, has been completed. The criteria and procedure determined by Polar Research Institute and TÜBİTAK-ARDEB have been used for the evaluation.

T.C. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Bilim, Teknoloji ve Yenilik Politikaları Kurulu (BTYPK) bünyesinde, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı ile işbirliği içerisinde ve TÜBİTAK’ın teknik desteği ile Yapay Zekâ, İleri Malzeme, Büyük Veri ve Bulut Bilişim, Motor Teknolojileri, Siber Güvenlik, Biyoteknolojik İlaç alanlarında Teknoloji Yol Haritaları hazırlanmıştır. Teknoloji alanları, BTYPK Teknoloji Önceliklendirme Çalışması, 2023 Sanayi ve Teknoloji Stratejisi ve 11. Kalkınma Planında yer alan ortak teknoloji alanlarından; etki potansiyeli en yüksek alanlardan seçilmiştir.
Yükümlülükler
Desteklenen yürütücü (ve varsa proje ortakları) ve akademik danışmanı, araştırmanın başvuru ve yürütülmesi sırasında evrensel nitelikli bilimsel araştırma ve bilimsel yayın kurallarına uymak zorundadır. Yukarıda belirtilen kurallara aykırı davranılması halinde ilgililer hakkında AYEK yönetmeliği hükümleri uyarınca işlem yapılabilir.
Değerlendirme sonuçlarının açıklandığının TÜBİTAK web sayfasında duyurulmasını takip eden en çok 12 ay içinde proje yürütücüleri sonuç raporunu sisteme yüklemelidir.

Within the scope of the World Bank’s Turkey Green Industry Project coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, product or process development activities related to the green transformation in the private sector are supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB. As part of this effort, a new call under the 1833-coded SAYEM Green Transformation program, which operates under the 1801-coded Repayable and Grant Support Program for Industrial R&D Projects, has been opened as of 04.08.2025. Applications will be accepted until 30.09.2025.
Under this call, Industry-Oriented R&D and Innovation Networks — a technology ecosystem — will be supported through the establishment of innovation platforms in collaboration between the private sector, universities, and public institutions, aiming to develop high value-added products or product groups that contribute to the green growth of our country.
The goal is to establish a specialized R&D and Innovation Platform through collaboration, to create Productization Roadmaps (ÜYH) via this platform, and to support Productization Programs (ÜPG) that focus on developing products or product groups aligned with green transformation, in accordance with these roadmaps.
Applications will be accepted from consortia structured as platforms. The specific requirements for becoming a platform coordinator are outlined in the call announcement.
The program duration is 36 months. Private sector organizations within the platform will be funded through grants and repayable support, while universities and research institutions will receive 100% grant funding.

Within the scope of the World Bank Turkey Green Industry Project, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the green transformation activities of the industry are supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB. The third call for 1833-SAYEM Green Transformation has been opened as of 01.08.2024, and applications will be accepted till 03.10.2024.
Within the scope of the call, private sector, university, and public collaboration will be supported to create innovation platforms, forming a technology ecosystem for Research and Development (R&D) and Innovation Networks focused on industry. These networks aim to contribute to the sustainable growth of our country by developing high-value-added products or product groups. Under the leadership of the private sector and in collaboration with universities and the public sector, the establishment of a specialized R&D and Innovation Platform is encouraged. Through this platform, the creation of Productization Roadmaps (ÜYH) and support for Productization Programs (ÜPG) aimed at developing products or product groups for green transformation within the framework of these roadmaps will be facilitated. Consortium applications within the platform structure will be accepted for this call. The conditions for becoming the platform coordinator are specified in the call announcement. The support period is max. 36 months, and the upper limit for a program proposal per platform is 300,000,000 TL. Private sector organizations participating in the platform can receive support both as grants and interest-free reimbursable support, while universities and research institutions are eligible for 100% grant support. The budgetary upper limit for organizations involved in the platform is 15 million TL for SMEs, 60 million TL for large-scale enterprises, and 10 million TL for universities and research institutions.

Within the scope of the 2224-C Grant Program for Participation in Scientific Meetings Abroad within the Framework of International Agreements, it is granted supports for either undergraduate or graduate students in Türkiye, and young researchers that have doctoral degree to participate in Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings provided a globally recognised forum for exchange between Nobel Laureates and young scientists.
The Call for 2224-C Grant Program for Participation in Scientific Meetings Abroad within the Framework of International Agreements run by TÜBİTAK Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes Directorate (BİDEB) is opened.
The 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Chemistry will take place from 29 June to 4 July 2025. Either undergraduate or graduate students educating on Chemistry and related areas in Türkiye and researchers working on Chemistry and related areas can apply the program.
The 8th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences will take place from 26 to 30 August 2025. Either undergraduate or graduate students educating on Economic Sciences and related areas in Türkiye and researchers working on Economic Sciences and related areas can apply the program.

The Call 8 is open to SMEs, Large Enterprises, Research & Technology Organisations (RTOs), and Academia. Turkish participants will be supported under the 1509 - TÜBİTAK International Industry R&D Projects Support Programme. According to the 1509 Programme rules, only companies can apply directly to projects from Turkey. Universities and research institutes can participate in projects as service providers.

International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle are organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions. The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is being held since 2005 Electric Vehicle Efficiency Challenge Races.
The objectives of “Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle”, organized by TÜBİTAK since 2005, are to contribute to technologic development, create awareness of alternative and clean energy sources, and provide the participants with knowledge and professional and social experience. In this regard, it is necessary to closely follow global technological advancements and changes. When we look at the research and practices all over the world concerning electrical vehicles, we see that battery-fed vehicles are at the forefront and in the near future battery-fed vehicles will become common in our daily lives.
The competition consists of two categories: Electromobile and Hydromobile.
Students from universities in Turkey and abroad (bachelor, master, doctorate) can participate.
Within the scope of the race, teams are required to prepare a progress and technical design report. Teams that do not send the reports and are not successful in the reports cannot participate in the race.
40.000 TRY preparation support and 25.000 TRY vehicle transfer support are given to teams participating from within Turkey. At the end of the race, 100.000 TRY for the teams that came first in their categories, 90.000 TRY for the second placed teams and 80.000 TRY for the third placed teams. 30.000 TRY Visual Design and Jury Awards; Domestic Product Awards worth 60.000 TRY, 50.000 TRY, 40.000 TRY.
The race will be held at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus between March 8 – 12, 2023.

Method
Under Phase 1, implementing organizations will evaluate business idea applications submitted by entrepreneurs according to the following criteria:
a) Content and quality of the business idea
b) Market status of the product or service
c) Competence and cohesion of the project team
d) Adequacy of preliminary preparation work
A business idea application to be accepted into the acceleration program must receive a minimum score of 7 out of 10 for each criterion.
Within the scope of the acceleration program, entrepreneurs are provided with comprehensive and integrated support to commercially validate their technology-based business ideas and transform them into investment-ready business plans. Upon completion of the acceleration program, it is expected that the business ideas will have matured systematically and evolved into feasible business plans.
Following the acceleration program, implementing organizations will evaluate entrepreneurs’ business plans based on the following criteria:
a) Technological level and innovativeness of the business plan
b) Suitability and feasibility of the business plan
c) Commercialization potential of the business plan
A business plan deemed suitable for the pre-seed investment stage by the implementing organization must receive at least 6 points out of 10 for each criterion and a total score of at least 20.
Within the framework of Phase 2 and Phase 3, business plan proposals submitted to TÜBİTAK are evaluated through a panel process. Business plans are assessed in panels determined by TÜBİTAK, with the participation of at least three panelists. In addition to the panelists, a moderator is assigned by TÜBİTAK for each panel. During the panel, evaluations are collected from all panelists based on the criteria specified in the “Criteria” section, and after discussions are completed, a panel opinion is formed and a Panel Consensus Report is prepared.
The scientific evaluation process has been completed for the applications submitted within the scope of the 2025 application period of the "2209-A Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students", which is conducted by the TÜBİTAK Science Fellowships and Grant Programme Directorate (BİDEB) with the aim of providing associate degree and undergraduate students with experience in research and project management, and the applications that have received conditional acceptance have been determined.
The following steps must be carried out for the eligibility for support to be finalized:
Academic advisors must approve the Bibliography Commitment clauses regarding the use of GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) tools through the BİDEB Application and Monitoring System (e-bideb.tubitak.gov.tr) between 13.05.2026 – 04.06.2026.
Within the scope of the 2209-A Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students, following the completion of the aforementioned GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) approval process, if requested for the relevant project (in the event of such a request, a separate e-mail regarding the matter will be sent to the student project leader), the ethics committee approval document or the ethics committee exemption document must be uploaded to the BİDEB Application and Monitoring System by the project leader between 08.06.2026 – 08.08.2026.
The application status can be viewed in the BİDEB Application and Monitoring System by logging in with user credentials and accessing the "Application Status" section.
Application Method
Applications are submitted online via the TÜBİTAK Management Information System (TYBS).
Applicants must ensure that all uploaded files open correctly and are accurate.
The system closes at 17:30 on the last application day; submissions by email/post/fax are not accepted.
Applicants must confirm the accuracy of the information entered and compliance with program requirements.
Academic advisor information is verified via YÖKSİS (Higher Education Information System) and ARBİS (Researcher Information System); thus, advisor information in both systems must be up to date.
After the project leader submits the final confirmation, the application is sent to the academic advisor via email for approval.
The academic advisor confirms the correctness of the information, accepts the advisory role, verifies the scientific field, confirms institutional adequacy, and agrees to comply with program obligations.
If the advisor returns the application for revision, the student may correct and resubmit it.
Once approved by the advisor, the application is sent to the Institutional Authority of the student's university for e-signature (https://eimza.tubitak.gov.tr).
After this signature, the application becomes valid.
Tracking these steps is the responsibility of both the project leader and the academic advisor.
Withdrawal requests require a signed petition sent electronically (bideb2209b@tubitak.gov.tr) within 1 month after the call closing date.

COST üyesi ülke kuruluşlarında çalışan/eğitim gören ve Genç Araştırmacı ve Yenilikçi (Young Researchers and Innovators - YRI) statüsünde bulunan (40 yaş ve altındaki bilim insanları) bilim insanlarının faydalanabileceği destek mekanizmalarıdır. Kişinin konferansta sözlü veya poster sunum gerçekleştirecek olması ve başvuruya konu Aksiyon ile konferansın konusunun uyumlu olması gerekmektedir. Konferans destekleri herhangi bir COST Aksiyonu tarafından organize edilmeyen uluslararası bilim ve teknoloji konferanslarına katılıma yönelik desteklerdir.

c. Yayılım Konferansı Desteği (Dissemination Conference Grant)
COST Aksiyonu üyesi olan bilim insanlarının COST Aksiyonu tarafından organize edilmeyen yüksek düzeyli bir bilimsel konferansa Aksiyon faaliyetlerini tanıtabilmesi amacıyla katılımını destekleyen mekanizmadır. Katılımcının Aksiyonu tanıtmak amacıyla sözlü sunum gerçekleştirmesi gerekmektedir.

1.1. YRIG ve ITCG Başvuru Süreci:
Araştırmacı bir uluslararası bilimsel konferanstan sözlü/poster sunum yapması için davet alır.
COST Conference desteğine başvurabilmek için katılım sağlayacağı uluslararası bilimsel konferansın konusuyla uyumlu bir COST Aksiyonu bulur. (Uygun COST Aksiyonunu bulmak için; https://www.cost.eu/cost-actions/browse-actions/)
Katılım sağlayacağı konferansın konusuyla uyumlu bir COST Aksiyonu bulduktan sonra https://e-services.cost.eu/activity/grants/add adresinden YRIG veya ITCH için başvurusunu gerçekleştirir. Başvuru esnasında ilgili Aksiyonun seçilmesi gerekmektedir.
Gerçekleştirilen başvuru Aksiyon yönetimi tarafından değerlendirilir. Katılım sağlanacak uluslararası konferansın konusuyla aksiyonun konusunun uyumluluğu incelenir.
Değerlendirme sonucu başvuru sahibine bildirilir.
1.2. Başvuruların Değerlendirilmesi ve Seçilmesi:
Alınan her bir Konferans Desteği başvurusunun değerlendirmesi başvurunun gerçekleştirildiği Aksiyonun Yönetim Komitesi tarafından gerçekleştirilir. Konferans Başvurularının değerlendirmelerine yönelik kriterler her bir Aksiyonun kendi Yönetim Komitesi tarafından belirlenmektedir.
Gerçekleştirilen başvurunun değerlendirilmesi ve seçiminde başvuruya konu uluslararası konferansın başvurunun gerçekleştirildiği Aksiyonun konusuyla bilimsel açıdan uyumluluğu ve Aksiyonun bilimsel hedeflerine ulaşmasında ne gibi katkılar sağlayabileceği baz alınmaktadır.
1.3. Konferans Desteği Bütçesi:
Konferans desteği miktarının belirlenmesinde başvuru sahibinin bütçe talebi ve gerçekleştirilen değerlendirme göz önünde bulundurulmaktadır. Konferans desteği başvuru sahibinin başvuruya konu konferansa katılımıyla ilgili tüm masrafları karşılamayabilir. Söz konusu destek başvuru sahibinin uluslararası seyahat ve gündelik masraflarına yönelik bir katkı niteliğindedir. Yüz yüze katılım için 2.500 Euro, çevrimiçi katılım için ise 500 Euro'ya kadar destek sağlanabilmektedir.
1.4. Uluslararası Konferans Destekleri Ödeme İşleminin Onaylanması:
Konferansa katılım sonrası başvuru sahibinden konferans katılımıyla ilgili “Bilimsel Rapor” yazıp Aksiyona sunması talep edilir. Bilimsel Raporun toplantının son gününden itibaren 30 gün içerisinde teslimi gerekmektedir. Raporun vaktinde teslim edilmemesi durumunda katılım desteği iptal edilecektir.
Bilimsel Rapor taslağı "Grant Awarding user guide" dokümanından ve aynı zamanda http://www.cost.eu/STSM_report_template adresinden indirilebilmektedir. Başvuru sahibinin raporu doldurduktan sonra pdf formatında kaydedip COST sistemine yüklemesi gerekmektedir.
2. Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaret Desteği (Short Term Scientific Mission - STSM)
Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaret (STSM) desteği araştırmacı mobilizasyonuna yönelik, kurumsal ziyaretleri temel alan bireysel desteklerdir. Temel amacı bireyler arasındaki bilimsel etkileşimi artırmaktır.
2.1. Kimler Başvurabilir?
Bir COST üyesi ülkedeki kuruluşta görevli/eğitim gören bilim insanları destekten faydalanabilmektedir.
Başvuru sahibinin eğitim gördüğü/çalıştığı kuruluş “Gönderen Kuruluş” (Home Institution), başvuruya konu araştırmanın gerçekleştirileceği kuruluş ise “Kabul Eden Kuruluş” (Host Institution) olarak kabul edilmektedir.

Alınan her Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaret (STSM) başvurusunun değerlendirmesi başvurunun gerçekleştirildiği Aksiyonun Yönetim Komitesi tarafından gerçekleştirilir. Konferans Başvurularının değerlendirmelerine yönelik kriter her bir Aksiyonun kendi Yönetim Komitesi tarafından belirlenmektedir.
Gerçekleştirilen başvurunun değerlendirilmesi ve seçiminde başvuruya konu bilimsel ziyaretin başvurunun gerçekleştirildiği Aksiyonun konusuyla bilimsel açıdan uyumluluğu ve Aksiyonun bilimsel hedeflerine ulaşmasında ne gibi katkılar sağlayabileceği baz alınmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, başvuruların değerlendirmesinde coğrafi kapsayıcılık, cinsiyet eşitliği, genç araştırmacıların desteklenmesi gibi COST kuruluşunun özel önem gösterdiği göstergeler ayrıca dikkate alınmaktadır.
2.5. STSM Kriterleri
Bir Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaret;
En az 5 gün olmalıdır,
En üst gün sınırlaması bulunmamaktadır. Ancak gerçekleştiriecek olan seyahatin COST’un tek bir Grant Period’unun (COST’a dönemsel olarak ABÇP’den aktarılan bütçe dönemi) içerisinde kalacak şekilde planlanması gerekmektedir. Mevcut Grant Period'a dair bilgi başvuru esnasında görüntülenebilmektedir.
Bir Aksiyonun sona ermesinden önce bitecek şekilde planlanmalıdır.
Kişi, yaşamadığı bir ülkedeki "Ev Sahibi Kuruluş" için STSM başvurusu yapmalıdır.
Başvuru sahipleri kişisel güvenlik, sağlık, vergi, sosyal güvenlik ve konaklama koşullarıyla ilgili konulardaki düzenlemeleri kendileri yapmakla yükümlüdür.
2.6. STSM Finansal Desteği
Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaret desteği miktarının belirlenmesinde başvuru sahibinin bütçe talebi ve gerçekleştirilen değerlendirme göz önünde bulundurulmaktadır. STSM desteği başvuru sahibinin başvuruya konu araştırma ziyaretiyle ilgili tüm masrafları karşılamayabilir. Söz konusu destek başvuru sahibinin uluslararası ulaşım ve gündelik masraflarına yönelik bir katkı niteliğindedir.
Bir STSM desteğinin hesaplanmasında aşağıdaki kriterler dikkate alınmaktadır:
Her bir başvuru sahibine toplamda en fazla 4.000 Euro miktarında bir destek sağlanabilmektedir.
Toplam destek miktarı içerisinde yemek ve konaklama masrafları için günlük en fazla 160 Euro’ya kadar destek ayrılabilmektedir.
Aksiyon yönetimleri Kısa Süreli Bilimsel Ziyaretin gerçekleştirileceği ülkeye göre değişen oranlarda konaklama ve yemek gündeliklerini belireyebilirler.
STSM destek sahipleri bütçenin %50'sine kadar bir ön ödeme talebinde bulunabilirler. Bu miktar fonun mevcutta olması ve Grant Holder kuruluşun onayına tabidir. Ön ödeme talebi Grant Holder kuruluşa gerçekleştirilir.
2.7. STSM Ödemesinin Onaylanması
STSM desteğini alan araştırmacının ziyaretin sona erdiği günden itibaren 30 gün içerisinde Aksiyon yönetimine ziyaret ile ilgili bilimsel raprounu sunması gerekmektedir. Ödemenin gerçekleştirilebilmesi için sunulan raporun Aksiyon Yönetimi tarafından onaylanması gerkemektedir.
3. Sanal Hareketlilik Destekleri (Virtual Mobility Grant)
Bir COST üyesi ülke veya COST Yakın Komşu Ülkedeki (Near Neighbour Countries-NNC) kuruluşta çalışan/eğitim gören kişilerin çevrimiçi bir bilimsel çalışmaya bilimsel becerilerin artırılması, bilgi paylaşımı gibi amaçlar doğrultusunda katılımını destekleyen bir destek mekanizmasıdır.

Sanal Hareketlilik Desteği kapsamında 1.500 Euro'ya kadar fon sağlanabilmektedir.
