The Call 27 is open to SMEs, Large Enterprises, Research & Technology Organisations (RTOs), and Academia. Turkish participants will be supported under the 1509 - TÜBİTAK International Industry R&D Projects Support Programme. According to the 1509 Programme rules, only companies can apply directly to projects from Turkey. Universities and research institutes can participate in projects as service providers.

1812 Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program (BiGG Investment) aims to support entrepreneurs in transforming their technology and innovation-oriented business ideas into enterprises with high potential for creating value-added and qualified employment. By supporting activities from the idea stage to the market, the program encourages qualified entrepreneurship and aims to establish technology-based startups capable of competing in international markets and developing innovative, high-tech products and processes.
The program also aims to scale financial support for research, technology development, and innovation projects through the return of investments made by the funds.
This program consists of three stages aimed at converting innovative business ideas into commercial products, processes, or services:
Acceleration Program Phase (Phase 1): Entrepreneurs submit business ideas to acceleration programs. Implementing Agencies evaluate these ideas and provide services such as training, mentorship, and incubation for those with high potential to become successful business plans. During this stage, commercial validation of the idea is conducted. Implementing Agencies are expected to collect and evaluate applications within specified thematic areas and support the preparation of business plans for potential successful ventures. Agencies for the 2026-2028 period have already been determined.
b) Pre-Seed Investment Phase (Phase 2): Business plans awarded the Seal of Excellence are required by TÜBİTAK to establish a company. The startup enters into an investment agreement with the TÜBİTAK BiGG Fund for a maximum 5% stake in exchange for the support amount. The Board of Directors may set a lower fixed rate. Investment may consist of equity partnership, convertible debt, or both. The fund may join during registration or through a subsequent capital increase, but it cannot purchase shares from existing partners. Phase 2 covers activities like conceptual design, technical/economic feasibility, and prototype development.
c) Seed Investment Phase (Phase 3): This stage invests in startups that received pre-seed funds in Phase 2 or completed projects under the TÜBİTAK 1512 program to accelerate their growth. Seed investment funds (where TÜBİTAK or its privileged partners are investors) conduct detailed reviews of business plans. Startups enter an agreement for a maximum 10% stake. Similar to Phase 2, investment can be equity, convertible debt, or both, and the fund cannot purchase shares from existing partners.
Within the scope of the World Bank’s Turkey Green Industry Project coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, product or process development activities related to the green transformation in the private sector are supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB. As part of this effort, a new call under the 1833-coded SAYEM Green Transformation program, which operates under the 1801-coded Repayable and Grant Support Program for Industrial R&D Projects, has been opened as of 16.04.2025. Applications will be accepted until 16.06.2025.
Under this call, Industry-Oriented R&D and Innovation Networks, which are technology ecosystems, will be supported through the creation of innovation platforms in cooperation with the private sector, universities, and public institutions. These networks aim to develop high value-added products or product groups that will contribute to green growth in our country. A specialized R&D and Innovation Platform will be established under the leadership of the private sector in collaboration with universities and public institutions. Through this platform, Productization Roadmaps (ÜYH) will be created, and Productization Programs (ÜPG) will be supported to develop products or product groups aligned with the goals of green transformation. Consortium applications in the form of platforms will be accepted for this call. The requirements for becoming a platform coordinator are outlined in the call announcement. The program duration is 36 months, with a maximum proposed budget of 300,000,000 TL per platform. Private sector organizations participating in the platform may receive support as grants and repayable funds, while universities and research institutions will receive 100% grant support. The budget upper limit is 15 million TL for SMEs, 60 million TL for large-scale enterprises, and 10 million TL for universities and research institutions.

The TÜBİTAK Research Institute of Fundamental Sciences (TBAE) continues to take significant steps toward producing high-quality knowledge across a wide range of fields in basic science and interdisciplinary research areas, organizing scientific activities at an international level, and strengthening Türkiye’s scientific competitiveness. In this context, the High Energy Astrophysics Winter School (TBAE HEAP’26) will be organized on 2–6 February 2026.
This school aims to provide both the theoretical background and experimental insights necessary for students aiming to conduct research in high-energy astrophysics, while also supporting early-career and active researchers in the field. The program will cover topics such as compact astrophysical objects, radiative processes in high-energy astrophysics, cosmic rays, gravitational waves, neutrino astronomy, observational techniques, telescope and detector technologies, and approaches to multi-wavelength and multi-messenger astronomy.
Participation in the in-person program is limited to 50 attendees. Priority will be given to master’s/PhD students and postdoctoral researchers working in relevant fields. All selected in-person participants will be provided free accommodation and domestic transportation support (bus/train).

As of February 1, 2026 the requested budget from TÜBİTAK can be maximum 1.200.000 TRY (including scholarship, excluding project incentive bonus (PTI)* and overhead) without annual budget limit.

INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The principal investigator (PI) is obliged to investigate whether the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties are subject to the project proposal, before presenting the project proposal and should submit the results of investigation in the proposal.
In case the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties are subject to the project proposal;
a) The PI undertakes that the project does not infringe on the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties and if any, PI should submit the texts of the agreements like related licenses, transfers, etc.
b) If TÜBİTAK has been subjected to any legal treatment for alleged violations of the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties, TÜBİTAK is notified that it will be applied and / or enforced in any sanction, an administrative penalty; PI is responsible for taking responsibility. Despite this, if TÜBİTAK faces a legal sanction, TÜBİTAK recourses to PI.
In case of violations of the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties due to the PI’s defect and / or negligence; the Regulation, “Araştırma Projelerinde Uygulanacak İdari ve Mali Esaslar” and the relevant legislation provisions are applied. 11. Bilim Fuarları Sonuç Sistemi Açıldı!
Yapılan güncelleme çalışmalarının tamamlanmasının ardından, 4006 Bilim Fuarları kapsamında gerçekleştirilen ve gerçekleştirilecek olan bilim fuarları için Fuar Sonuç Sistemi açılmıştır.
Sonuç Sisteminde yer alan "Öz Değerlendirme" adımında proje yürütücüleri tarafından verilecek cevaplar, Bilim Fuarlarının etki analizi kapsamında değerlendirilecek ve Programın yeni dönem çağrısında dikkate alınacağından önem arz etmektedir.

The Eurostars Coordinator Support Program 2026/2 National Call has been opened. Within the scope of this call, SMEs in Türkiye that want to apply to the 11th Call of the Eurostars-3 Program with international R&D and innovation projects will be supported. The objective is to assist them in building consortia with international partners and enhance their project ideas. Within the scope of the call, SMEs intending to apply as project coordinators will be eligible for project writing and presentation training or professional project preparation support.
Applications to the Eurostars Coordinator Support Programme 2026/2 National Call (code: “EUROSTARS-KOORD-DEST-2026-2”) will be submitted under the “Eurostars Coordinator Support Programme 2026/2 National Call” scheme.

The 2024 Call of the Chips Joint Undertaking (JU), which is supported under the Horizon Europe Programme, has been published.

In 2024, the Chips JU will launch three calls for proposals for the non-initiative part of the programme:

The Joint Program for Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) is a structure that organizes and manages a series of research programs active in the field of neurodegenerative disease research in Europe. Within the scope of the initiative in question, calls for projects are being opened to make neurodegenerative potential research more efficient and to increase the treatment capability.

Within the scope of the JPND 2025 Call, proposals submitted to this call must focus on one or several of the following neurodegenerative diseases: Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease and PD‐related disorders , Prion diseases, Motor neuron diseases, Huntington’s disease, Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA), Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Proposals submitted under this call may include, but are not limited to, the following types of research:
Deciphering the interplay of physical health, biological, environmental, social and economic factors in determining cognitive decline and behavioral and psychological symptoms;
Investigating the specific or changing needs in regard to different subtypes of neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., different types of dementia), disease trajectories and treatment regimens (e.g., drug-treatment vs. non-drug treatment);
Identifying transition points of deterioration that occur throughout the disease progression and establishing measures for effective interventions and prevention;
Development of guidelines and harmonization of standardized operation procedures for the use of socio-cognitive testing across regions and countries in Europe or beyond;
Development of measures for rehabilitation and reablement and effective support from the perspective of patients and family caregivers to establish person-centered and public health approaches;
Establishing effective models of care by studying quality of care (e.g., in nursing homes) or the effects of prevention or delay of admission to a nursing home;
Identifying suitable housing at different stages of the disease progression, from adapted housing solutions to nursing homes and dementia villages;
Identification and implementation of new digital measurement tools and socio-cognitive digital markers with cross-cultural validation based on patient-reported outcome measures;
Identifying and addressing known barriers to e.g., improve the accessibility of services, the development of advanced care planning, the interaction between social and care services as well as between persons with dementia and their immediate environment and the public (stigmatization);
Consideration of ethical issues;
Unraveling regional differences in the effectiveness and impact of health and social care interventions and developing strategies for evidence-based adaptation and implementation in e.g., different settings, regions and systems.
Projects to be submitted to the call must meet the following criteria:
Each proposal must involve a minimum of three and a maximum of six regular partners, including the coordinator, from at least three different countries participating in this call. However, if the proposal involves at least one regular partner from an EU-13 country (Hungary, Latvia and Poland) or from Turkey, the maximum number of regular partners is extended to seven.
For reasons of transnational balance, no more than two regular partners from the same country are allowed to join a proposal.
In addition, external collaborators (e.g., research groups from countries not participating in this call) may participate in proposals. External collaborators must secure their own funding. They must state in the proposal if these funds are already secured or how they plan to obtain funding.
Joint transnational research proposals can be funded for a period of up to three years.

For projects involving partners from Turkey, it is mandatory to apply to both the call secretariat and TUBITAK.
National project applications can only be made using electronic signature (e-signature) via the Project Application System (https://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr).

Doktora ya da tıpta, diş hekimliğinde, eczacılıkta ve veteriner hekimlikte uzmanlık veya sanatta yeterlik derecesinin alındığı tarihi izleyen 7 yıl* içerisinde başvuruda bulunmak ya da desteğe hak kazandığı tarih itibariyle 12 ay içerisinde ilgili dereceyi alacak olmak,
Araştırmasını yurt içinde eğitim veren devlet veya vakıf yükseköğretim kurumlarında, 6550 kapsamında yeterlik almış araştırma altyapılarında, kamu araştırma enstitülerinde, Ar-Ge veya tasarım merkezine sahip özel sektör kuruluşlarında veya teknoparklar bünyesinde Türkiye’de yerleşik sermaye şirketlerinde yapacak olmak,
Doktora/uzmanlık sonrası araştırmasını, kadrolu olarak bir kuruluşta çalışıyorsa, çalışmakta olduğu kuruluşta yapmamak,
Araştırmanın yürütüleceği ev sahibi kurumdan doktora derecesi almamış olmak,

Değerlendirme Yöntemi
Başvurular iki aşamada değerlendirilir.
Ön İnceleme
Ön inceleme aşamasında başvuru belgeleri kontrol edilmektedir. Başvuru süresi içinde yapılmayan, başvuru koşullarından herhangi birini sağlamayan, belgeleri eksik olan veya istenilen formatta olmayan, başvuru son günü mesai bitiminden sonra gelen faks/elektronik posta ile yapılan başvurular bilimsel değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmadan iade edilir. Ön inceleme Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı tarafından yapılır.
Bilimsel Değerlendirme
Bilimsel değerlendirme aşaması ön inceleme süreci neticesinde evraklarının eksiksiz olduğu tespit edilen adaylar, Prof. Dr. Aziz SANCAR’ın koordinasyonunda belirlenen bir değerlendirme kurulunca TÜBİTAK Bilim İnsanı Destek Programları Başkanlığı koordinesinde yapılacaktır. Nihai değerlendirmede destek almaya hak kazanacak adaylar Prof. Dr. Aziz SANCAR tarafından belirlenecektir.
Program kapsamında araştırmacılara aylık 27.000 TL(tam) ve 7.500 TL(kısmi) burs verilmektedir. Araştırmalarını yürütmeleri için 150.000 TL’ye kadar araştırma desteği sağlanmaktadır. Araştırmacılar ayrıca “Yurt İçi ve Yurt Dışı Bilimsel Etkinliklere Katılım Desteği” programlarının katılım koşullarını sağlamaları halinde direkt destek alabileceklerdir. Araştırmacılar, destek kazandıktan ve araştırmalarını tamamladıktan sonra 12 ay içerisinde “Bilimsel Eğitim Etkinlikleri Desteği” programına başvuru yapabileceklerdir. Başvuru yapılması halinde, programa başvuran diğer adaylardan ayrı olarak baraj puanı belirlenecektir. Başvuru sistemi 03 Haziran 2024 – 12 Temmuz 2024 (17.30) tarihleri arasında başvuruya açık olacaktır.

Araştırma Destek Programları Başkanlığı tarafından 1002-Hızlı Destek Programı altında yürütülen 1002-A Hızlı Destek Modülü ve 1002-B Acil Destek Modülü kapsamında iyileştirme çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, mevcut başvuru formları ile sunulacak proje önerilerine ilişkin çevrim içi başvuruların ARDEB Proje Başvuru Sistemi (PBS) üzerinden 27/04/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar tamamlanması gerekmektedir. 27/04/2025 saat 23.59’a kadar onaylanan proje başvurularının elektronik imza süreçlerinin bu tarihten sonra tamamlanabilmesi mümkündür. 28/04/2025 tarihinden itibaren mevcut formlar ile başvuru yapılması mümkün olamayacaktır.
1002-A Hızlı Destek Modülü ve 1002-B Acil Destek Modülünün yeni süreçlerine ve başvuru formlarına ilişkin bilgilendirme 28/04/2025 tarihinden sonra duyurulacaktır.
Başkanlığımız bünyesinde yürütülen 2204-A Lise Öğrencileri Araştırma Projeleri Yarışması Programı kapsamında 2025 yılında 12 alanda 37.206 öğrencinin hazırlamış olduğu 22.586 projenin başvurusu yapıldı.
Başvurusu yapılan projeler yarışmanın ön değerlendirme aşamasında ülkemizde çeşitli üniversitelerde görev yapan akademisyenler tarafından değerlendirildi ve bu değerlendirme sonucunda 1.200 projenin sahibi toplam 2.488 öğrencimiz bölge yarışmasında projelerini sergilemeye hak kazandı.
